Damn, the amount of times the Ra player would chase for no reason after winning a fight in classical.. heal up your army! The second the next fight starts a Cyclops cleave deletes the whole front line.. that picking up a slinger, throwing it into a mass of slingers and killing them all was funny, but it says it all! Entertaining game for us but I don't think either player would watch this and be happy with their play lol

Stalemates in RTS are usually awesome, like this game back and forth, what an amazing game. The cyclops answering your aoe question moments later in such spectacular fashion. But yeah, I dont have as much time as I would like yet this is the right length of game for me.

Great game and cast!! And WOW really important point here: despite essentially a game long economic advantage, constantly more men, and higher tech, this fight was still pretty even! So I have to agree with you, this game shows that RA/Egypt in general need some buffs. Which shows in the win rates, as 99% of the community are not Kimo skill.. You are right, flip the situation and Hades rolls through RA in like 15 minutes!

No. It's because he stayed second age despite Ra having no bonuses for barracks units. Plus he kept chasing Hades army around. Early game Egyptian barracks units are only good when fighting defensively near town centers and towers. Ra player needed to get out of the second age so he could start getting camels and elephants.

He had plow when you were wondering. You pressed at the villager and it showed I think. Also pressing on the granary it showed the upgrades available, plow was not available because it was researched.

Elder Cyclops are insane. I've wiped masses of 30 slingers/toxotes with 2 3 cyclops throws online. Their AOE damage is also massive, works well when you send them in a bit later when the fighting has already started so they don't get focused down. Goes well with early Vault of Erebus. You do have to micro the throw though

Hades does not have access to centaurs. The Nerf you didn´t mention is the nerf to myth unit hp on Hades. Maybe you meant to say nerfs to minotaurs instead of centaurs pretty confusing.

Would you be able to explain how to 'attack move'? It seems like a really key part and I'm not sure how it works or how to use it.

You can Switch to attack move by pressing your Space bar I think (should check in parameter). It will move your units to the place you decide and at the same it will automaticaly attack ennemy unit when encountered. It's a really important move beczuse it avoids situation where you aren't looking at your army and it going through ennemy army without touching it.

For shoot and scoot, you can select your archers, then do a regular move command away from the enemies. After they take a step, push space bar and click again (away from the enemies). Your archers will turn and fire. Once they shoot, right click again away from the enemies and your archers will start running. Repeat as long as you can. There is no single command to tell your archers to continually shoot and scoot, you have to manually tell them to run, fire, run, fire, but the space bar command makes it a lot easier (though the archers will not focus fire, they will each pick their own random target)

Hades player made such a mess of that timing attack lol, should have elder cyclops hidden instead of letting Kimo see some shenanigans were coming with just a few spearmen. Then why waste 30 seconds using his whole army to take out 1 villager and allowing Kimos army to get in position instead of going straight for the tc? Had all his reinforcement idle for half the fight too. frustrating to watch because I was interested in whether the attack would have worked if executed properly.

Not sure why nobody wins as Ra. He's not that weak. You can't stay in the second age as him like you can with Set. You're better off on the defensive till you get to the third age. The problem is that defenses have been nerfed so badly that building towers is just a waste of resources. It's not a deterrent anymore like in Legacy. Wood isn't important as Egyptian till the third age unless you're Set. Just focus on food and gold, get third age, mass elephants. Use your barracks units defensively instead of trying to do counter raids. You won't win a slug fest with infantry as Egyptian.
