My autistic son loves this song. Even though he is nonverbal he does try to sing with it. It's amazing what his favorite music provides for him. I know the band will never read this but I wanted to thank them for helping my child express himself.

Oh, trust me. these guys do see/read your comment(s). They may not read them very often, but they do. I know, because I've commented before and Ivan and I think it was Chris who responded, on one of their older songs. Take my word for it, these guys really do appreciate it. The song I refer to is "No One Gets Left Behind". Unless someone took said comments down, which I don't even recall where they are. That particular song resonates with *me,* because my old mentor was a 2 war veteran, and every time I heard it, it reminded me of him. But ya. They really do appreciate your (and your little boy's) admiration. 🤘🤘

This was my dads song. He showed it to me while he was battling prostate cancer. He told me this was the song that could word how he felt, while he was on his medications. We listened to it and cried. Sadly he didn’t make it. And this Saturday is his 1 year anniversary of his death. Can’t listen to it without crying. But thank you for making a song that my dad used to describe the pain he felt. Really made me feel more connected to him. I Love you dad.

This was my husband's anthem before he was diagnosed last August, but knew something was wrong. He listened to it constantly. Then, after his diagnosis, he listened to it even more. I lost him on July 4th of this year. He was a seriously huge FFDP fan. I am as well, but he knew every word to every song. Our first date was Rock on the Range in 2016 Columbus, Ohio. I fell in love with him that day. We went to every rock festival and concert we could go to. Even if we couldn't really afford it. Music was our glue, and FFDP is a huge part of that bond. Thank you guys for making the music you make and being some of the realest mfs in the business. On behalf of my beautiful husband, Garth, and all others fighting this horrid disease, FUCK CANCER!!! 🖕

thank you both for youre service, dont let the ptsd define who you are. i did my time in the sand box, got injured and reminded of it with every breath, every time i move. i have been thru the wringer in life so i understand. try to find stength it, once a person learns to control, focus and chanel ptsd they become unstopable force. its just a hill to climb, we can all make it. some of us need help and us vets are here for each other. feel free to reach out. just as the saying goes, theres strength in numbers and its no different when we are deployed or when we are back home.

It’s interesting to look at these comments. Most of them are “yeah I can relate!” or “this is 2020!” But a for few, the ones who actually struggle with clinical depression, trauma based depression, etc. this song is a way to reflect on yourself, vent without knowing how to vent, and cry the tears you needed so much to come out but didn’t know how to make them. I’m glad I found this song, and I’m happy for those of you who are helped by this, and sorry for those who understand this comment.

This is what I LOVE about FFDP they do NOT do videos often but when they do (even when in the middle of a pandemic and NOTHING like they originally wanted) the video is amazing and speaks volumes! So many points in here that fit so beautifully that once again reminds me why I live these guys. 1. They support ppl like my husband who is an army vet 100% disabled with PTSD and depression and has a hard time living his life sometimes. 2. They support the military that is still active, first responders. 3. They are a band who is NOT afraid to show they are fallible and human like everyone else. 4. They are very down to earth guys who have huge hearts. These 4 things make them one of the best bands and ppl in the position to influence young minds in my opinion. Thank you guys for being you and caring. Michelle B. - Maine USA

I think this video speaks more to me as is, than it would with special effects. As a vet with PTSD, him wandering around, looking and reacting to people and things that aren't there speaks to the paranoia and anxiety that I have 24/7. And the lyrics hit the nail on the head when my symptoms are particularly bad. Thank you. ❤

I have PTSD from a different experience. First, I want to thank you for your service. But I agree that the video seems more powerful this way. The anxiety is a hell all its own. I wish you strength in your battles you have yet to face and that you find peace in a healthy manner. The struggle is constant, but I truly hope you find something or someone to help you on your path to a better life. 💜

Just about a year ago, my husband went into the hospital for fluid retention in his abdomen. I said good bye at 6PM. At 6 AM the next morning, I got a call. He was in 100% liver and kidney failure, on a life support, and in the ICU. For 7 weeks, I was at the hospital twice a day, working 40 hours still, taking care of the house and bills myself, and dealing with his family. I was there when they gave him 24 hour dialysis, intubated him 5 different times, and had him in surgery twice. The worst day was the conference with his doctor and I had to make the decision to either wait and see or pull his breathing tube. I went to the car. This song was playing. And I just screamed for 10 minutes. My husband beat the odds. He had less than a 5% chance to live. Now, a year later he is almost 100% healthy. This song captures everything I felt during that time.

I go from that to literally not feeling like doing anything for days (no energy, no self-esteem, worthlessness) & I wonder why I even bother trying because there is no point to anything & I think I'd be better off eating a bullet. If I could sum up in one word what all this world is facing right now, even 2020 in general.. Is numb.. Australia has had to endure bushfires before this virus took off, seeing the pain of what we went through in the bushfires. Ppl loosing everything, money raised and ppl still not having a place to call their own, lives were lost either those who defended their homes or helping those in trouble.. I had my car packed ready to evacuate for 2 weeks before I had my car back to being a car. Ppl lost jobs as well, either cause tourism declined because too dangerous to go or burnt to the ground. Then comes this other shit, more jobs, lives, mental health has risen by more than we've ever seen. I know we'll never see our past normal again, but man. Can't this shit just friggen end 😢. Ppl need to just change their living mindset now, quicker ppl can understand that more we can have some normality back

Gosh, this storyboard completed would've been absolutely astonishing,, though I can Not tell you how happy this being posted, as well as getting to see it beautifully done in place by imagination of it, gosh it's incredible. And even though some really important stuff in it may have been missing, this was still so well done and absolutely GORGEOUS. Super glad to have been early to seeing this. This is truly something that's made my evening. Keep up the glorious work, FFDP!! Still planning to see y'all in concert when it comes back around! This album was absolutely spot on. Please, ROCK ON, guys. Stay safe,, and keep up the Masterful work!!🖤🖤

Just heard this for the first time while my Google Home was randomly playing music. I've always appreciated FFDP and I don't think Ivan or the rest of the band get the full appreciation they deserve. These songs are straight from the heart, the lyrics all meaningful in a deep and powerful way, and it's awesome how FFDP can do intense music and more laid back stuff like this equally well. I totally related to this and have been feeling similarly for a few weeks. AMAZING song. And based on the comments it looks like a lot of other people relate in their own way. Thanks for the amazing music! Please, don't ever stop!!!
