Oh, trust me. these guys do see/read your comment(s). They may not read them very often, but they do. I know, because I've commented before and Ivan and I think it was Chris who responded, on one of their older songs. Take my word for it, these guys really do appreciate it. The song I refer to is "No One Gets Left Behind". Unless someone took said comments down, which I don't even recall where they are. That particular song resonates with *me,* because my old mentor was a 2 war veteran, and every time I heard it, it reminded me of him. But ya. They really do appreciate your (and your little boy's) admiration. 🤘🤘

This was my dads song. He showed it to me while he was battling prostate cancer. He told me this was the song that could word how he felt, while he was on his medications. We listened to it and cried. Sadly he didn’t make it. And this Saturday is his 1 year anniversary of his death. Can’t listen to it without crying. But thank you for making a song that my dad used to describe the pain he felt. Really made me feel more connected to him. I Love you dad.

This was my husband's anthem before he was diagnosed last August, but knew something was wrong. He listened to it constantly. Then, after his diagnosis, he listened to it even more. I lost him on July 4th of this year. He was a seriously huge FFDP fan. I am as well, but he knew every word to every song. Our first date was Rock on the Range in 2016 Columbus, Ohio. I fell in love with him that day. We went to every rock festival and concert we could go to. Even if we couldn't really afford it. Music was our glue, and FFDP is a huge part of that bond. It’s interesting to look at these comments. Most of them are “yeah I can relate!” or “this is 2020!” But a for few, the ones who actually struggle with clinical depression, trauma based depression, etc. this song is a way to reflect on yourself, vent without knowing how to vent, and cry the tears you needed so much to come out but didn’t know how to make them. This is what I LOVE about FFDP they do NOT do videos often but when they do (even when in the middle of a pandemic and NOTHING like they originally wanted) the video is amazing and speaks volumes! So many points in here that fit so beautifully that once again reminds me why I live these guys. 1. They support ppl like my husband who is an army vet 100% disabled with PTSD and depression and has a hard time living his life sometimes. 2. They support the military that is still active, first responders. 3. They are a band who is NOT afraid to show they are fallible and human like everyone else. 4. They are very down to earth guys who have huge hearts. These 4 things make them one of the best bands and ppl in the position to influence young minds in my opinion. Just about a year ago, my husband went into the hospital for fluid retention in his abdomen. I said good bye at 6PM. At 6 AM the next morning, I got a call. He was in 100% liver and kidney failure, on a life support, and in the ICU. For 7 weeks, I was at the hospital twice a day, working 40 hours still, taking care of the house and bills myself, and dealing with his family. I was there when they gave him 24 hour dialysis, intubated him 5 different times, and had him in surgery twice. The worst day was the conference with his doctor and I had to make the decision to either wait and see or pull his breathing tube. I went to the car. This song was playing. And I just screamed for 10 minutes. My husband beat the odds. He had less than a 5% chance to live. Now, a year later he is almost 100% healthy. This song captures everything I felt during that time.

I've never been tested/diagnosed as bipolar but I've often wondered if I am (at least Bipolar II). Some days I'm full of energy, confidence, self-esteem, & it seems like anything is possible. I go from that to literally not feeling like doing anything for days (no energy, no self-esteem, worthlessness) & I wonder why I even bother trying because there is no point to anything & I think I'd be better off eating a bullet. I've been this way for decades since my early 20s. SMH

If I could sum up in one word what all this world is facing right now, even 2020 in general.. Is numb.. Australia has had to endure bushfires before this virus took off, seeing the pain of what we went through in the bushfires. Ppl loosing everything, money raised and ppl still not having a place to call their own, lives were lost either those who defended their homes or helping those in trouble.. I had my car packed ready to evacuate for 2 weeks before I had my car back to being a car. Ppl lost jobs as well, either cause tourism declined because too dangerous to go or burnt to the ground. Then comes this other shit, more jobs, lives, mental health has risen by more than we've ever seen. I know we'll never see our past normal again, but man. Can't this shit just friggen end 😢. Ppl need to just change their living mindset now, quicker ppl can understand that more we can have some normality back
