Lyrics
I'm a little bit off today, something down inside me's different
Woke up a little off today, I can tell that something's wrong
I'm a little thrown off today, there's something going on inside me
I'm a little bit off today, a little bit off today
(I'm a little bit off today, a little bit off)
See, I'm a little bit off today, I cannot put my finger on it
Got up a little off today, just to play that same old song
I don't really wanna try today, I see nothing in my reflection
I'm a little bit dry today, feel like I could die today
Feel like I could die today
Hey yeah, hey yeah
Hey yeah, don't ya know? (I'm a little bit off)
Hey yeah, hey yeah
Hey, you gotta let it go (I'm a little, just a little bit off)
I'm a little pissed off today and there ain't nothing you can do about it
I'm a little put off today and I could not tell you why
Got a really short fuse today, everyone around me's fucking crazy
I'm a little ticked off today, a little pissed off today
(I'm a little bit off today)
I told a little white lie today, I smiled and told someone I loved them
I had to say goodbye today to someone that I love
I couldn't even cry today, I think my heart is finally broken
Didn't need a reason why today, I don't need a reason why today
Hey yeah, hey yeah
Hey yeah, don't ya know? (I'm a little bit off)
Hey yeah, hey yeah
Hey, you gotta let it go (I'm a little, just a little bit off)
I got a little too high today, got lost inside a sea of madness
Crashed a little bit hard today, crashed a little too hard today
Everybody sing
Hey yeah, hey yeah
Hey yeah, don't ya know? (I'm a little bit off)
Hey yeah, hey yeah
Hey, you gotta let it go (I'm a little, just a little bit off)
Hey, you gotta let it go (I'm a little, just a little bit off)
I'm a little bit off today
Something down inside me feels so different
Just a little bit off today
You can all fuck off today

My autistic son loves this song. Even though he is nonverbal he does try to sing with it. It's amazing what his favorite music provides for him. I know the band will never read this but I wanted to thank them for helping my child express himself.

Oh, trust me. these guys do see/read your comment(s). They may not read them very often, but they do. I know, because I've commented before and Ivan and I think it was Chris who responded, on one of their older songs. Take my word for it, these guys really do appreciate it. The song I refer to is "No One Gets Left Behind". Unless someone took said comments down, which I don't even recall where they are. That particular song resonates with *me,* because my old mentor was a 2 war veteran, and every time I heard it, it reminded me of him. But ya. They really do appreciate your (and your little boy's) admiration. 🤘🤘

This was my dads song. He showed it to me while he was battling prostate cancer. He told me this was the song that could word how he felt, while he was on his medications. We listened to it and cried. Sadly he didn’t make it. And this Saturday is his 1 year anniversary of his death. Can’t listen to it without crying. But thank you for making a song that my dad used to describe the pain he felt. Really made me feel more connected to him. I Love you dad.

This was my husband's anthem before he was diagnosed last August, but knew something was wrong. He listened to it constantly. Then, after his diagnosis, he listened to it even more. I lost him on July 4th of this year. He was a seriously huge FFDP fan. I am as well, but he knew every word to every song. Our first date was Rock on the Range in 2016 Columbus, Ohio. I fell in love with him that day. We went to every rock festival and concert we could go to. Even if we couldn't really afford it. Music was our glue, and FFDP is a huge part of that bond. Thank you guys for making the music you make and being some of the realest mfs in the business. On behalf of my beautiful husband, Garth, and all others fighting this horrid disease, FUCK CANCER!!! 🖕

As someone struggling with Depression and PTSD from childhood, this really hits deep. I love this band and their music because it's not trying to hide from real world problems and in a way is helping others whom have suffered. I love 5FDP and only hope the best and hope they continue to make music that many of us can listen to and find peace with. Yesterday as of this comment I did feel a little bit off and I guess this hits a lot closer when you just have one of those days, it's a great description of how we all can feel when we're struggling with the current day.

It’s interesting to look at these comments. Most of them are “yeah I can relate!” or “this is 2020!” But a for few, the ones who actually struggle with clinical depression, trauma based depression, etc. this song is a way to reflect on yourself, vent without knowing how to vent, and cry the tears you needed so much to come out but didn’t know how to make them. I’m glad I found this song, and I’m happy for those of you who are helped by this, and sorry for those who understand this comment.

Yeah that was the weirdest thing to me too. I had the chance to visit Vegas during the summer, back in 2019 August. It was crazy. To be fair I'm not sure what was crazier, seeing the strip so packed, or so empty.
@mpuck972
@mpuck972 3 жыл бұрын
For many of us that live here in Vegas it was an eerie sight as well. In the weeks leading up to the city starting to reopen an interesting thing happened though. Locals started to go down to the strip to enjoy it. Obviously not for the gambling, food, or entertainment, but to go for a walk or bike ride down a street that normally would have been to crowded to walk, and unsafe to ride a bike on the street. At one point during my ride up and down the strip, the group of people on bikes took up 2 of the 3 vehicle lanes without an actual vehicle in sight! So for about a month us locals finally got to enjoy an area we largely avoid, and were able to renew our understanding as to why it exists, so we can once again welcome the world to come visit and to share in the fun that only Las Vegas can offer.

I've never been tested/diagnosed as bipolar but I've often wondered if I am (at least Bipolar II). Some days I'm full of energy, confidence, self-esteem, & it seems like anything is possible. I go from that to literally not feeling like doing anything for days (no energy, no self-esteem, worthlessness) & I wonder why I even bother trying because there is no point to anything & I think I'd be better off eating a bullet. I've been this way for decades since my early 20s. SMH

This is what I LOVE about FFDP they do NOT do videos often but when they do (even when in the middle of a pandemic and NOTHING like they originally wanted) the video is amazing and speaks volumes! So many points in here that fit so beautifully that once again reminds me why I live these guys. 1. They support ppl like my husband who is an army vet 100% disabled with PTSD and depression and has a hard time living his life sometimes. 2. They support the military that is still active, first responders. 3. They are a band who is NOT afraid to show they are fallible and human like everyone else. 4. They are very down to earth guys who have huge hearts. These 4 things make them one of the best bands and ppl in the position to influence young minds in my opinion. Thank you guys for being you and caring. Michelle B. - Maine USA

Wow. It's AMAZING, how versatile this song really is and how many different types of people it can really speak to. I'm here because I have a seizure disorder and I heard this song for the first time today and literally started crying because I felt like you'd reached in and squeezed my heart! I'll be 50, next month and listen to a lot of stuff. A metal group has NEVER had an emotional impact on me like that, before! Reading the comments, I see that people who are bi-polar, suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression... and a whole range of other afflictions that can make us all feel this way and you guys perfectly encapsulated our feelings for ALL of us! That's awe-inspiring! Count me as your newest fan! Funny thing is, I lived in 'Vegas for 27 years and didn't even know you guys were from there until 2 years after I left and moved to Mesquite! Now I gotta come back to see you! Working on it. Disability doesn't pay much.

(I'm a little bit off) Hey yeah, hey yeah Hey, you gotta let it go (I'm a little, just a little bit off) I'm a little pissed off today and there ain't nothing you can do about it I'm a little put off today and I could not tell you why Got a really short fuse today, everyone around me's fucking crazy I'm a little ticked off today, a little pissed off today (I'm a little bit off today) I told a little white lie today, I smiled and told someone I loved them I had to say goodbye today to someone that I love I couldn't even cry today, I think my heart is finally broken Didn't need a reason why today, I don't need a reason why today Hey yeah, hey yeah Hey yeah, don't ya know? (I'm a little bit off) Hey yeah, hey yeah Hey, you gotta let it go (I'm a little, just a little bit off) I got a little too high today, got lost inside a sea of madness Crashed a little bit hard today, crashed a little too hard today Everybody sing Hey yeah, hey yeah Hey yeah, don't ya know? (I'm a little bit off) Hey yeah, hey yeah Hey, you gotta let it go (I'm a little, just a little bit off) Hey, you gotta let it go (I'm a little, just a little bit off) I'm a little bit off today Something down inside me feels so different Just a little bit off today You can all fuck off today

I think this video speaks more to me as is, than it would with special effects. As a vet with PTSD, him wandering around, looking and reacting to people and things that aren't there speaks to the paranoia and anxiety that I have 24/7. And the lyrics hit the nail on the head when my symptoms are particularly bad. Thank you. ❤

I have PTSD from a different experience. First, I want to thank you for your service. But I agree that the video seems more powerful this way. The anxiety is a hell all its own. I wish you strength in your battles you have yet to face and that you find peace in a healthy manner. The struggle is constant, but I truly hope you find something or someone to help you on your path to a better life. 💜

Just about a year ago, my husband went into the hospital for fluid retention in his abdomen. I said good bye at 6PM. At 6 AM the next morning, I got a call. He was in 100% liver and kidney failure, on a life support, and in the ICU. For 7 weeks, I was at the hospital twice a day, working 40 hours still, taking care of the house and bills myself, and dealing with his family. I was there when they gave him 24 hour dialysis, intubated him 5 different times, and had him in surgery twice. The worst day was the conference with his doctor and I had to make the decision to either wait and see or pull his breathing tube. I went to the car. This song was playing. And I just screamed for 10 minutes. My husband beat the odds. He had less than a 5% chance to live. Now, a year later he is almost 100% healthy. This song captures everything I felt during that time.
