Great video as always Jovan! What would you think of a closing lineup of Lebron at the 1, Max, Jerami Grant, Vando, AD as far as shooting/spacing/defense/rebounding? Where do you think this closing lineup would rank amongst the west title contenders?

Think that would be a really good lineup. I like it. You could also swap Austin in for Max/Vando and go a little more offensive-minded. You have options. I think they could be in that second tier with Denver/Dallas/Minnesota (I have OKC in a tier by themselves).

Congrats on the wedding and hope you enjoyed your honeymoon 🥳 My thoughts on the lineups: 1. Austin needs to handle defensive ball pressure better to make this lineup elite 2. Two big lineup is good but Wood’s defense is going to kill this lineup 3. I’d like to see that lineup. Rui needs to not be lost on defense to make it excel. 4. DLo looks for AD more than anyone else. This would be a decent lineup if Wood isn’t part of it. (Don’t trust wood at all tbh) 5. Interchange Vando and Max. Lineup can be used for injuries as you said.

Buhah what do you think of this team this season? Vando won’t play for a month into the season. What about Christian Kaloko? I don’t think Capella would be good. What about Bronny James? I think this team is fair at best.

It depends on health. If healthy, I think they can be a 5/6 seed. If not, obviously they're a Play-In team (or worse). They probably have more variance than any other team in the West. Or at least in the conversation.

6:33 max Christie isn’t a better perimeter defender than reaves. Reaves held Jamal Murray to 16/51 in a series. Christie wouldn’t have done that.

Lakers actually used the non Lebron-AD lineup. That was the starting 5 they used when they beat the Celtics. Bron-AD didn’t play that game. Hayes-Vando were the starters. Congrats on the wedding!! 🎉

The three most athletics guards on the team Bronny, Dalton and JHS were not included in any of your lineups. Thats why they dont develop no vision. Steve Kerr benched Clay one of the greatest player in history for a rookie. That is the kind of vision we need here, not people who are afraid to play a rookie for players who disappear in the playoffs year after year

D’Angelo Russell is a better shooter, shot creater and playmaker than Austin Reaves. Also, he can get crazy hot too! There’s simply no way he’s better than Russell. I do like Reaves though.

I would want at least one more lineup with less of the starters in general, cuz just being realistic... all the starters aren't even gonna play every game so you can't always have 3+ of them in. Like Dlo or Reaves + all bench guys. It's a little tough to make those lineups feel good, but realistically, that's a problem JJ is gonna have to deal with.

This is a really good point. I guess the AD bench lineup is the closest -- only two starters in AD and DLo. But I can also do updated versions during the season based on lineup data and injuries.

austin reaves is coming off a real struggling season. i know if you just look at his overall stats line he was good but if you actually watch the game he was incredibly inconsistent. ar couldn't shoot to save his life
