Thanks for Watching-Whoah Sounds Like you have a lot of experience with them , and your 400 must have been a BIG Banga by the sounds. Hope this little clip bought back some Memorys for you and I will do another Atkinson one and also i will get a International one UP soon .

The Atkinson's that had the Gardner diesel had a unique sound of their own. Shell had a large fleet of them hauling tankers back in the late 1960's into the 1970's.

Thanks for Watching-hahah yes well i remember the day back in the 1970s i was supposed to be taking photos of my brothers wedding when i heard this magnificent echo through the streets of South Yarra , and I raced out of the church to find a Magnificent Atkinson in the old Shell colours grinding through the gears , and I was in AWE . clicking away i used UP all of my Film , and to say I was not very popular would be an understatement hahahaha But I did not care .

Some really nice Atkis there.A lots different to the ones we had in the UK, although the old Borderer,Venturer, were good trucks, but the Europeans came in and took over the market.
