I love that at the start, you can see that Bonnie actually notices Mike sneaking in and tries to warn Freddy, but they can only communicate so much using these stiff bodies of theirs, so Freddy doesn’t really get the memo until the last second. And even then you see he gets a little pissed at Bonnie, as if he’s saying “Dude what are you freaking out about I didn’t see anything”

So the first nice touch is that in most movies, Mike would have sat out the 3rd act due to his injuries but here he couldn't. Vanessa fixed him up the best she could (She even said that some of his injuries were going to need to be tended to by a doctor.) and gave him equipment to help him rescue his sister and even her cop car keys so he could get there faster. It was noted by a few that Bonnie saw him but could not warn Freddy in time. One could say Chico was so wimpy that she couldn't handle Abby, but the more realistic interpretation is that she didn't want to hurt her. Mike's apology was cool as he was acknowledging that he was so consumed and guilt-ridden over his brother's abduction and desire to undo it that he lost sight of the family he still could protect and save. Abby was recipient to his apology and promise for improvement but said they should go while Chico was down and out.

Really? Because it sounded to me like Abby was just the most angry at Mike having Aunt Jane look after her instead of taking her to her animatronic friends, and she shows how much she cares for Mike by putting him in all her drawings, even if he can be neglectful of her. And according to theories on social media, Abby has known the Missing Children long before Mike worked at Freddy's, boy Cassidy (Golden Freddy) wasn't under Afton's control because he was the most aware, while the other souls were losing their identity (even their faces), and Abby only got angry at Mike because she thought he was having Aunt Jane adopt her, not to just babysit her, but both situations were still terrible, but she still cares for Mike, even when she's angry at him, this part, also according to social media. That's how I see the movie, and the lore inside it.
