Excellent. I've a soft spot for Johnny Winter And....Live. Borrowed a copy from a school friend back in the early 70s, but it took me quite a few years before I grabbed my own vinyl copy.

The only thing that matches 'Going Home' when crossing The Tyne Bridge is Jimmy Nail's 'Big River'. Also written by Knopfler and on which he plays gorgeous guitar. Stirring. Emotional. One to seek out.

Have you heard "A Winter Snowscape" by Martin Barre? Gorgeous! It's on the Jethro Tull Christmas album and also on Martin's album Stage Left from the same year (2003.)
