I think the biggest lesson has been to let go and embrace stillness. What this looks like for me has been: began with 911, then a series of misfortunes hat happened for 10 years from that point: loss, murder, suicides, bankruptcy... goes on but you get it . I’m now in a valley where I can breathe, nurture... and it is Really Important to accept this time and not feel I have to do something. My entire life has been of giving, sharing and putting myself last. Now, God is giving me time for myself, so I’m appreciative and embracing it without guilt

Self-love tip #4 reminded me a lot of one of the chapters from Jordan Peterson's book 12 Rules For Life, which was "Treat yourself like you are someone you are responsible for helping." It's SO easy to defer our love and care to others, forgetting that we are living, complex people also in need of nurturing. Love this video, Erin!

Self love is soo, soo important! Once you cultivate true self love for yourself you won't tolerate anything less from others and naturally raise your standards! Let's heal and love ourselves queens! Love you Erin! 🙏🏻💞

Amazing tips! The most important thing I’ve learned is when you love yourself, you are not just being kind to yourself, it is also being good to others. “ The more you build self-love, the more you give to others.”

Getting my body moving makes me feel incredibly connected with myself. I find that I feel this connection most when I’m, for example, practicing yoga without any music or podcasts playing in the background.

I literally wrote in my journal this morning that I have been giving my love to other people and hoping to have it returned, and instead I need to give my love to myself first 🥰 talk about timing

Thanks Erin for talking about self-love/ self-care not in just the physical sense! I've recently learned that too; that outer self-love only is truly effective if you have inner self-love! Thank you!

I love this video, Erin! Things I do to show myself self-love is speaking words of kindness to myself and about myself. I try to accept compliments when they are given and correct myself in a loving way. It's a work in progress but it helps me sooo much.

Great tips! I also like the re-characterization method, and another visualization/insight I like is that that "mean girl" is just a passenger in the car, but we're in the driver's seat! And we don't need to follow the mean girl's instructions 😉

Appreciate the content - Self-love needs to be prioritized, especially right now! I go deep into self-love in a video series a couple months ago on my channel too (playlist on home page). I hope videos like ours inspire people to manifest self-love & in turn - love others. Just subscribed to your channel also - KZbinrs like yourself should be highlighted more
