The more structured you are, the more routines you have in place, the more free time you have. 1. A Morning Routine: don’t do anything you don’t enjoy, but know how to set yourself up for a good day. Be intentional about what you do. It’s to get you into a good mood and feel energised. Experiment to figure out what that is for you. 2. A Learning Routine: consume enough new knowledge that’ll help you create content especially if you’re a content creater or entrepreneur. At least 30-60mins once or twice a week to learn something new about the areas you are trying to achieve in 2021. Put it in your calendar. 3. A Visionary Routine: E.g Monday is her CEO day to go through her goals and review of projects etc. A mini audit to ensure all your plans and actions are in alignment with what you want to achieve. You need to do this every week. 4. An Exercise Routine: one reason you may not be able to achieve your goals is because you feel like you don’t have enough energy to do it, exercise can help you with that. It can be any type of activity you can do to move your body: yoga, hiking, swimming etc 5. A Self-Care Routine: what do you personally need for self replenishment? What recharges your batteries? What fills up your cup? It should be personal. E.g going to the beach, spending time with family, meditation. 6. A Release Routine: find a way to release stress. Usually goes hand in hand with your hobbies. Something that gets you into the flow state.

I want to thank you for this great video! And I want to add: a Nutrition Routine - plan, shop, prep what food you'll be fueling your body with, a Cleaning Routine to keep your physical environment simple, stress-free, and supportive to your goals, and a Financial Routine to keep your money in order and again supportive to your other goals!

Yaaaas setting up systems around you will go such a long way! I went from depressed and suicidal to manifesting so much abundance just because I realised it’s not about the hustle hustle hustle but more of Alignment to where you want to be✊🏼

Structure and routine are so very important. I was a hot mess when covid hit and we've all been at home working for almost a year now and I felt so lost and unmotivated. I am such a social person and this was like someone pulled the plug on the world. I actually had to force my self into a brand new morning routine which was so awesome. It always started just at the breaking of daylight and I would walk 1 mile every day and watch the sunrise. WOW!! I can not tell you how great and energized it made me. Now that the freezing winter is here..I switched it to afternoon walks. Good luck to all of you.

Oh man when you said you used to be someone that used to rebel against organisation, structure and routine, that hit me hard! I am currently the same but I can see how badly that’s letting me down. I have two businesses which are going only just ok and I know that they could kill it, if I could figure out a way to find structure, without feeling pinned down. Definitely going to try these routines. Thank you for your content 🙏🏼

Would also recommend a wind down or night routine, even if it's just not using a screen for 30 minutes before bed. I take the time to make some tea, read whatever book I'm reading (usually a fiction book since I don't like taking notes on nonfiction just before sleep), and journalling about my day even if it's only a line or two. It helps me relax after my day and gets my brain in the humour for a good night's sleep

A morning routine I picked up this year is writing down my thoughts, whatever comes to my mind first thing in the morning. SO before I check my emails or social media in the morning, I sit down and write whatever comes to my mind and honestly it has made a difference in my mindset. I am naturally an over-thinker, my mind sometimes is in constant overdrive and sometimes it feels very overwhelming. So, since I started this morning journal routine, I have noticed that subconsciously my overthinking has lessened. I hope I can make this a habit and a morning routine for me. #selfcare #mindfulness

Yes I love that you said to make your morning routine you. See I tried the whole wake up at 4-5am thing but my circadian rhythm and sleep chronotype isnt made for that. I also dont have a regular 9-5 job so waking up and going to bed at the same time everyday doesnt work for me at all. I just do the same thing every time I wake up I found the right system for me. Especially after reading The One Thing and Atomic Habits. But i dont beat myself up if I go to bed at 11pm or 2am.

Love this video, Erin! Forming a routine first sets us up to simply have a good day, which then allows us to live happy, positive lives. When we commit to a routine, we're dedicating time to bettering ourselves all around - impacting our lives in more ways than one! Thanks for sharing! -Hala

Just what I needed as I find myself constantly rebelling against my own planned routines! 🤣😩 I also absolutely LOVE how you reframe a self-care routine. 💕 What I'm thinking about adding is a generosity routine. I often get so caught up in my own life and struggles that I forget to look around and lend a helping hand. Thank you so much for all your wisdom, light and inspiration! 🌼

I'm a big believer in an Evening Routine. It's even more important in some ways than a Morning Routine because every great morning starts after a great night's sleep, and I only have one of those if I've followed an Evening Routine. But it's all chicken and egg, really, isn't it? Morning Routines create great days so maybe you'll be more inclined to prep the Evening Routine before bed and a good sleep, which creates a great Morning and so on... :-)
