I still feel bad for Carl from DvG for technically successfully solving the word scramble, but not winning immunity because it wasn't the specific word production was looking for, even though the word was just as appropriate! Felt like a massive oversight from production.

Carl answered with "PERCEPTIONS" and Jeff said he was wrong and then Davey won immunity with the word "PERSPECTIVE". What makes it even worse is that Carl was voted out that same episode!

@@PLCollia The only thing that was wrong about Carl's word was the fact that it was arbitrarily the one producers didn't think of. It's like if a challenge was a maze that had 2 ways out, but producers would only let you win if you went one of the ways. Challenges shouldn't have multiple correct answers if only one of those answers are acceptable.

So there's this children's wilderness adventure sleepaway camp in South Carolina, and last spring as a fundraiser they held a mini-Survivor "celebrity challenge" involving twelve people no one's ever heard of, Sandra . . . and one other player. They did this spelling bee challenge at one point, and Sandra won. Her reaction was priceless.

if wendell had actually won that challenge, it wouldn't change anything. angela would've still ratted out sebas' extra vote to domenick, as well as the plot against him, domenick would've still used david's fake idol to save himself, and sebas would've still been voted out. the only thing i could think of being different, is maybe wendell doesn't break out his immunity necklace idol. although that was probably a scare tactic to keep donathan from voting against them, so maybe he still does that, but i still don't see this immunity having any significant impact if wendell had won

I love how Big Brother does a spelling comp and it's one of their most legendary comps to date, but then Survivor tried it once and people still act like it's a ridiculous joke. And I know in BB you have to actually collect the letters so it's more like a challenge.. but still tbh I didn't hate the Pearl Islands spelling comp

So idk if this one really counts but I just watched this video this morning, and then just now I was watching Survivor China (I started rewatching 2 nights ago) and I'm on the episode with the gross food challenge.. and I had to come back to mention the final round between Frosti and Eric, the "thousand year old egg". They literally finish at the exact same time. Eric taps Jeff's arm first, but he then took like 2 full seconds to open his mouth. Like he wasn't really done all the way when he tapped him. Frosti opens his mouth at the same time. It should have been a tie. Bad call. I don't care so much bc I'm happy with how the season played out lol but still. I'd be pissed if I was Frosti. Or Sherea 😂

Only having watched snippets of her time on the show, she plays a very good social game even if she's not good in challenges. She never seems to do anything to make people dislike her enough to want to vote her out, she's not so bad in challenges they want her gone because she's a liability before the merge, she's not so good in challenges they want her gone because she's a threat after the merge, and on at least one occasion (no idea which season) she told another Survivor they were being targeted and gave them a chance to save themselves (don't know if it was successful or not). It doesn't seem to be any one big thing, but lots of little things that mean when she makes it to FTC at least a couple of the jury want her to win, and a decent number of the rest vote for her just because don't want one of the others to win.
