FANTASTIC!!! I broke my toe nail yesterday across the centre half way down and I have been freaking out!! I will grab some glue and a tea bag and set to work....Thank you so much for this xxx
@tdotgyal416614 жыл бұрын
This is great! Oh and for people that don't have that glue, you can use a clear base coat on the nail, apply the teabag paper and coat again with another coat. Also, instead of cutting a paper that fits on top of your entire nail, you can just cut a little tiny piece for the split part. Much easier that way.

Hi Julia, I used this method yesterday - never done it before and it was actually FUN! I always do as much 'research' as possible before trying anything new, and your video on this theme is by far the best and most comprehensive. And about an hour ago, I just broke another nail! THANK YOU! =) XXX

FANTASTIC!!!!! Exactly the trick I have been waiting for, thank you. This is why, out of all the guru's of KZbin, you are my fav! You seem to think what think, and put up the exact vids I need. Thanks!

Oh I am so glad you shared this. My nails grow quite long and I do my best to take care of them but sometimes I get a snag. Usually on my thumbs and index nails. Instead of trimming all my nails down out of frustration I will definitely try this. It looks pretty simple. Thanks.

I broke my thumb nail and tried this. Thank you so much it really work :) you saved me some painful cutting and impatient growing out! xx

I never heard of this before! yay...this will save me two weeks of time for my nails to grow back. I'm the kind of person where if one nail cracks, I will cut all off and start all over again (which is annoying). Love this tip! Thanks for showing!

I've used this technique on 3 different broken nails in the last 3 weeks (one nail a week!) and its brilliant. Recommended.

This is brilliant. I have to keep my nails short because I do a lot of gardening, but recently I forgot to cut them for a few days and one broke really low on my nail bed. I was painful and cutting it was unpleasant and its still tender and looked ridiculous when I had a job interview the next day... *rambling* Thank you for the super useful tip =)

Awesome! I used your overall nailcare to tutorial to help me grow out my nails (there were a lot of helpful tips, mine kept breaking). They've been longer for a few month now and I love them. This morning at work I actually split one of my nails, so I was very excited to see this! XD Going to try it out right now!

I've tried this before and it's really good...I've tried all kinds of techniques to repair cracked nails and this is the best way I've found. My nails usually crack deep in the nailbed which makes it impossible to cut the slit off, and it hurts so much, but that way you can repair them easily and they last a long time too.

Thanks for the tips! I never thought to use a tea bag. I also just discovered a fact that I'm experimenting with now. I read that the Formaldehyde in nail polish can make your nails dried out so they crack and peel. I found a Formaldehyde free nail strengthener and I'm trying that now. Every nail strengthener I've tried, and over the years I've tried many, never work. I'm hoping this one does. It has great reviews.

I have been using the Nailtek since you mentioned it a while back and it has worked wonders for me. My nails used to get to your lenght and always brake and I used to get so unhappy as I love my nails long. My nails are now double the length of yours and I absolutely love them and they are so strong. You mentioned that you were going to do this video a while ago and I am so happy that you have now shared this trick with us. Could you recommend a good cutical creme or drops.

Thank you for this! Watched it today by chance, and then this afternoon found I have a crack in my thumbnail below the quick! I bought some nail glue while I was running some errands and gave it a shot. Looks to be holding up EXTREMELY well. I'll admit, I did two coats of glue after I put the tea bag piece on my nail, because I have extremely weak and flimsy nails. If this stops my nail from bending long enough for the crack to grow out past the quick, I'll be thrilled!

Then they started breaking at work :( Now, I have to start all over, but I love this trick and now I do have the nail tek foundation which I love. Thanks Martha Stewart of beauty!
