I don’t believe they’re doing it because they want a bad reputation or to do a bad job I believe they do it because they are not educated that there’s a better way

Oh god yes!!! The damn tip to pop it off! Why the hell do they do that? It hurts so much, I have NO good technicians near me whatsoever, so I do mine myself, I'm not a professional, I actually learnt everything from watching Susie and I have had no problems with them, with how bad they are near me I'm probably more professional then they are with my Polygel and home efile!

Thank you for the “no nippers” pop-up. That’s how my previous nail tech removed lifted acrylic. It hurt most of the time and I wonder if that was part of why my natural nails were tissue paper thin.

Correct. Them ripping the nail the rest of the way is why the nail were so thin.

I wish I had a nail tech like you where I live. Every 3 to 4 weeks they were trying to rip off all my nails. It hurt so much that I stopped getting my nails done. Also, I was thinking they never did this years ago when I used to have my nails done.

Thank you for this . Straight to the point. No matter what kind of nail I do the cuticle always slightly lifts in two weeks just enough to snag my hair. Not a deep lift and I take time prepping too.. I don’t get it.

If you are stuck for a video one time, can you maybe do one one how to achieve this classic French nail look. It’s always looks like a straight line between the white and pink for me. I’m not a nail tech, I’m just an at home diy enthusiast. I used to get my nails don’t every other week, but I can’t do that anymore, I’m trying to up my diy game 😂

This is what happens to my nails every time I do them! I do full nail prep, pay attention to cuticles. I always either get the product too far away (so the nails look like they need a fill in on a new set I’ve just done) OR the product just barely touches the cuticle area, but because it’s still touching regardless, it lifts… Nothing I can do about it…been practicing for dunno how many years now…I’ve grown so aggravated by it that I do tend to just rip it off.

So what percentage would you just try to soak this off instead...? I had a client with lifting like this last week but since it was like 1/3 gone I thought I had to soak it off..... Very helpful video

Honestly O% so much quicker to file Soaking is time consuming and messy

unless the nail is tender and the client has discomfort, then I would cut it down and soak it

Hi Susie random question- some people paint/ apply product underneath the nail for extra strength. Does this help? A normal coat on top of the natural nail along with product at the bottom. For more context this is for growing out the natural nail less to do with false nails or extensions. 🌸❤️ love the videos.

No, because the product your painting with ( gel polish or nail polish ) is not strong

I reread this question to try and understand- I think you mean they put ‘ nail product like acrylic’ (?) underneath- if they nail is built property there is no need for this extra product added underneath

@@NailCareerEducation Hi, I was actually talking about clear polygel in a thin layer under natural nail for additional strength. You apply ontop as normal but then add additional underneath. However I will just be applying ontop and leaving bottom. Was just questioning why this was done.🌸thanks for help!

No, they can get soft. But once product is removed correctly nails harden up again due to exposure to air

Well we kinda did- but you don’t know how much is lifted till you start filing- in this case it was far back - but there’s no need to remove the area that is actually attached

I tried to do a nail fill on myself but ended up just taking everything off because I couldn’t get the edges of my nail enhancement that was left to be smooth like this. How to you get the edge of what you’ve just removed to be smooth to be able to add more product? Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

Makes perfect sense. This is what I am looking for. I think the key is to not be a complete perfectionist and it's okay if you see the tiniest sliver at the edge that is not completely smooth. Also, using a more narrow bit to be more precise helps. I'm also very slow when I do this.

Yes! Pressure, Experience and the right bit reduce the burn

They did that to my nails. 😢 I have 3 days my nail it's cracking like where you stop filing it hurts..my natural nail it's long just like your clients I told the lady that I want it a new set because i didn't want it to crack but she didn't want me to do the new set just refill..that same day she broke my nail with the cutter and I bleed I almost fainted and now these so now I have 2 broken nails. I would just like to go and show her, but I prefer to remove it one own. Can you tell me why is this happening? Do you think it was time for a new set because my natural nail was so long I had 2 months with them.

A gel polish would not lift like this. If your gel polish has pulled back from the nail like this no you cannot just fall off a certain amount and redo it. Gel polish is so thin you will see the line of the product that is left behind. If gel polish is lifted I suggest you take it off completely and start again
