My Genesis have the same issue. If i replace the door handle, will my key fob recognize the button inside the handle?

It is supposed to. This is how it works in my case

My car Hanley buttons are not damage .. they are not functional ... any idea what cud went wrong?? And how to resolve this issue

Thanks for walking us thru that! I had my driver side button stop working on me. Found the replacement on Amazon for $25 and followed along. Super easy. Only difference for the driver side is the actual key hole part. Didn't change anything tho, still only a 5min repair and prob the best $25 I spent in a while lol. Thanks for the vid! 🫡

Oh btw, you don't have to take the screw all the way out. Once you have it unscrewed you and open the door handle and pop that piece out*
