Hi.. thank you for your videos. I have followed your instructions to fix the Error 4 on the F&P, using the red reset switch. That didn’t work, so I’m assuming I would need a new heating element. Have you made a video on how to replace the part?

It didn’t really move. The red switch spins, but doesn’t pop.

@@rodmason7822 was the thermostat button popped out ? you might have to test the heater with a multimeter to see if its still working

@@askmrwashywashy the button was open out but doesn’t re set - I checked with a multimeter and it appears ok - very strange. The heating element is simply not heating

Hi. My dryer comes up with a lint filter warning. Ive clean the filters but still no joy. Will resetting it help. Dont want to try as i dont have silicone atm

Great video. I have the same dryer, it occasionally trips off breaker. however when it happens, it is very likely it will trip again after restoring the breaker. Until it's working again, it works for a while. What are possible causes?

Hi mate. I have the same dryer. It doesn't heat on auto at all but when I use the 30/60/90 Min timer, it works just fine. Do you think that thermistor is to blame or a control board issue?

Might be the moisture sensor at the front where the lint filter goes. Make sure it’s clean and does not have lint buildup

Hi Mr Washy Washy, shout out your videos are very informative! If you could kindly assist, i have this exact unit leaking water at the end of every cycle. I've replaced the water pump, checked and replaced float but i can't seem to fix the leak. It seems to hold water right to end of cycle (unit turns off ) and leaks water from the rear left side - near the rear fan.. Any help is much appreciated.

hi does it leak under the black cover ? if so you will need to unscrew the cover and apply silicone all around where the seal is and screw back in. It should stop leaking then

Hey I have the same dryer and reset the fuse yesterday. It did a couple more hot cycles so heater was working but then error 4 came back. Will that just be a cleaning issue? If it's heating would I need to change the unit potentially still?

Hi...when cleaning out the lint from the small spaces how to you get the length out if it's damp /wet and vac doesn't get it out plesse? TYIA

Very hard, you’d need a high pressure air blower to blow out instead of trying to suck out the lint

Hi, I have a question about the reset thermostat button... Would you know what temperature the heater has to reach to trigger the switch? Im asking as my switch has deteriorated... Would you know or recommend aftermarket switch I can use?

hi I would recommend you get one one from fisher paykel as manufacturer would last longer and is best. Unsure what temperature it triggers at sorry

My friend gave me her dryer exactly the same as this one. I set it all up and after 10 min its stops and has err 9. My friend said it was working fine at her place. I've researched its the Heater Thermist or something. Did i damage something in the transport? Is it easy to fix

Hi, my dryer is not heating after 5 min on timed, then it shows err4. How do I determine if it is the heater element assy or the PCB? Inspection of the heater doesn't seem to show any issues. Vents and passages are also clear of excessive lint.

test your heating element for continuity using a multimeter. No continuity heater faulty. there its a resettable fuse which you push down at the back too.

@@askmrwashywashy Hey mate thanks for replying. The resettable fuse wasn't tripped, my multimeter shows 110ohm for both heater coils (I'm assuming high and low). I just don't know if that's acceptable for the heater, is there anyway to diagnose the PCB?

@jasonlast7091 Im having the same issue. No heat. I tested the heating elements and the thermistor and both good. I tested the contacts at the control panel where the heat cables come in but not getting any power coming out. I pulled apart the control panel assembly to the circuit board and all looked ok, no burnt relays and no burn smell either. I think in needs a new control panel but that costs about $250 new so im just gonna but a used dryer. I found the same model for $150 so ill get it tomorrow and use my old one for spare parts. hi mate. You would need to reset the sensor at the back of the heating element.

I was told with the error code I got it would be the heater element with thermal overload etc so I replaced to a part worth $200 and still getting the problem

hi how is the idler pulley and the two roller wheel that hold the drum. if these are worn this cause a constant overload protection.

Hi - how do you find errors / error 4 ... my unit the same as the one in the video works fine just dosnt heat...it progressively got less and less hot... and there is no error.. ive cleaned out the sensor etc... the trip switch is not tripped.... heater element is so how do i check this for continuity ?

BTW the unit is now showing any errors... it just runs the cycle and the clothes comes out damp...i have checked all possible passages for lint

do not buy this dryer, i have one, and i had to change 2 times on the wheel bearing , also, the water pump after a while becomes weak and doesnt suck out the water that is filled in the water pump, and cleaning the bottom radiatior filter is a head ache expecially if it is to moist, the dust and the micro cotton and polyster becomes stuck in the grills, overall ive had nightmares with this dryer , i sugget either a samsung or lg
