Going lock to lock with the steering wheel is known as high siding the pump. There is a pressure relief valve on the pump where pressure hose attaches. Never heard of damage being caused by high siding. The procedure for bleeding air in ford factory manual and many others says to do it. Wheels off the ground also . I have never had an issue and wrenched for 25 years . Note ! the whine that is notorious with the Ford C2 pump is air being sucked into pump from front shaft seal . Seal can suck air and not leak oil . These products most likely swell the front shaft seal .

So drained fluid, new type f. Lock to lock and still have a whine. Why? New Rock auto pump, lines and fluid.

Tried it. Didn't work, despite no leaks either.

DONT'T BUY THIS SHIT! I USED IT ON MY 88 GTA. NEW PUMP, BUT SMAL LEAK ON STEERING BOX. After 5 min of low rmp i turned steering wheel and hear loud pufff... power stering was GONE!!! Pump started making weard sounds. It killed my pump! ://///
