Fix USB/Wireless Mouse Not Working On Windows 11/10 (2024)

@SnipFlare1 I just found out it was my computer, mine is so old and barely works anymore, but the mouse stops working and then starts working again, it repeats that, it's maybe 1-3 days the mouse doesn't work and then I restart the computer and it works again

nothing changed for me ... but after just blowing in the laptop usb and mouse usb .. it works so guys just do this its very simple

under my mice and other pointing devices in my laptop there is only HID compliant mouse while yours have 2.

Thank you so much have been a problem for years that if i closed my computer and opened right after, it would disconnect my mouse for like 3 hours before a restart of the whole computer fixed it

I'm experiencing issue with latest March 2024 update (KB5001716 and KB5035845) for Windows 10, windows not closing and menu icons not responding to usb mouse. Followed your instructions, but the mouse issue still not resolved. Is anyone experiencing the same? Edit: Instead of disabling the driver, I uninstalled the driver of the particular mouse I was using and restarted laptop. This fixed the mouse cursor issue. Now mouse is working fine. ✌

i got the same problem. i followed the same instruction to remove the driver and there is less problem. however, the right click is not working. not sure if it's the switch or windows 11 problem. anyway i ordered a new switch and cross my fingers everything'll be good.

Guys don't waste time here, I found the solution it's very very simple. Just go to settings and search for Bluetooth and other device, you'll see a device names wireless receiver, that's your mouse. Just remove that device and then unplug your receiver and then plug it again. Your mouse will work. Let me know if it's working for you.

for people that have Bluetooth mice if you have a another mice use that to connect to the Bluetooth mice it worked for me i have an Onn mouse if this was helpful levee a like [:
