Fix Xbox One Audio Not Working - Xbox Sound Issues Headset & TV

Follow the steps below to Fix Xbox One TV Sound Not Working:
1. Press the Xbox One button on your controller to open the menu. In the menu scroll right and select System.
2. Once in System, select Settings
3. In the Settings under the General section, select Volume & audio output.
4. Under the Speaker Audio, ensure sure you have the correct audio output options select for your setup.
- TV connected to Xbox One via HDMI without optical audio cable: Under HDMI audio select Stereo uncompressed
- TV connected to Xbox One via HDMI with optical audio cable: Under Optical audio select Stereo uncompressed.
5. Close the Xbox One settings and then see if this has fixed your audio issues.
Follow the steps below to Fix Xbox One Headset Sound Not Working:
1. Press the Xbox One button on your controller to open the menu.
2. Scroll down and select the audio icon in the bottom right.
3. If the options are greyed out ensure you clean out the headset plug on your Xbox one controller.
4. Plug the controller back in and see if that works.
5. You can now turn on the headset mic, change the volume, chat mix, and mic monitoring.
