1. While doing jump rope look straight. 2. Keep your shoulders blades pushed nicely towards the back 3. Have your wrists open up towards the sky with elbows glued to the sides 4. Jump rope at one place and don't move around. Picture your self within a square 5. Use a weighted rope.

I fixed my nerd neck and rounded shoulders. Now I have to fix my anterior pelvic tilt which is the hardest part. This channel just proves how jumping rope is the best type of exercise. #DoTheThing

I broke my back in a motorcycle accident a lot of years ago and the best help for the pain has been improving my posture in all areas of my life but particularly in how I exercise. I used to run but found that very hard on my back but jumping rope pushes me towards standing tall ... I think I'm one of those slouchy runners :)

Very nice tips to correct the posture. As I am 58 years old but with a good physique , I have been dropping forrwad . But due to the pandemic I developed interest in doing jump rope workout. I saw many of your videos and started learning the basics of jump rope. Now with this video on how to correct the posture and avoid drooping forward I am really delighted. I have been doing rope skipping with some jogging for a week now. I started out with 103 kgs (227 lbs). Today I measured my weight and I lost 6 kgs (13 lbs) In my first week.

Reached 200,000 total on the 365th day. 8/30/19-8/30/20 3x a week. Next 100,000 starts today. Had to skip 4,600 on Saturday and Sunday each to reach my end of year goal. Age 65. Use 1/4 lb.rope. Did 1,000 3x a week for the first 8 months. Then picked up the pace. Now a 1,000 is like a warm up. 200 at a time, pause, start again. If I can jump, anyone can. Jumping til the end. lol

hey , i'm trying to lose a litle bit of weight... i have like 9% ~ 12% bf and 72kg 1.72m , just want to lean the lower abs and i'm jumping rope everyday, intense for like 10 mins each session ( like 30 mins overall, pausing, resting, doing other exercises, etc) and ofc i'm fixing my diet along... the only thing i'm not really able to reach is the jumping rope that you show.. sure its fantastic but here in brazil this costs like a car right now ( yeah LOL ) , but i really enjoy everything you guys upload, you should have a live session some day! take care

Have you talked about the hip flexors at all? A huge part of lower back pain is due to a lack of stretching out those hips. That psoas needs work!

Stick with the basic bounce until you strengthen up those muscles! Practice your boxer skip for only a few seconds at a time.
