I have a Acadia 15 from new, now with 190K miles on it, never have a problem only regular maintenance and I install a extra aftermarket transmission oil cooler when I bay it.

The trannies appear to like to get hot and no radiators adequately cool the tranny fluid. Sounds like you made a good call on the external cooler.

No problem. It's not a permanent fix. But it will buy you some time at least.

Did you do a fluid change at the same time? If not, you should have. Make sure the level is correct and it isn't over or under filled. Service stabilitrak warnings are usually electrical related. Be it a battery low on voltage, bad ground, coil dying, misfire, etc. Try to scan for codes and see if it pops something up like a misfire on a certain cylinder. It could just be coincidental timing that the service stabilitrak warning popped up after you added the stuff to the transmission.

i have an 09 gmc acadia. This is the worst car on the planet! I have put over 2000$ in this car, and it still runs like crap! fix one issue and another one pops up.

I assure you, it is far from being the worst car out there.

@@greasyfingergarage water intrusion in all 4 doors, throttle body set off all kinds of sensors causing my car to go into a violent shudder on the highway, almost killing me. i changed the throttle body and it fixed the issue for about 1 week. now i have the steering wheel off by 25deg. i have had all the suspension changed to knew, to include drive shafts, wheel bearings, struts, shocks, rooters, calibers, breaks, all motor and trans mounts, egr vavle, maf sensor, mas air flow sensor, plugs, intake gasket, wires, coils, oil sensor, all four wheel sensors, transmission cleaned, rack n pinion, battery, steering wheel position sensor, all new a/c parts. all these are all OEM parts. I am a mechanic and do this for a living. and still the a/c doesnt work, the transmission needs converter, the suspension rides like a model T ford, the engine still runs like crap! i wont give this car away because i would hate to put a human through what i am going through. i have spent so much money and time. i am not even included the 100$ hour i charge for labor. it is a lemon car. it is pretty darn close to the wort car on the planet. and when i say i would not give this car away, i mean it! i dont want that carma coming back to me. and i have resplaced all the door switches and still only the front windows work. I have followed every wire and tested them in the car. the car is just crap! from what i see on the net, these acadia are just lemons! I dont know how gmc can keep a stright face when selling them to people. i could never screw a person over that bad. this is nothing against you, its just the truth
