Great repair video explained in a very easy to understand way. Depending on the watch movement, damage can be done approximately between 8pm and 4am. For that reason alone, I ALWAYS move the hands to the 5.30 position before I change the day/date. So pleased that I found your channel!

came here to try to figure out how to fix my day / date wheel on my skx.. (changed date at wrong time.. after MANY mods) left deciding a new nh36 movement is worth the money to avoid the struggle. lol. watch repair like in the video takes talent and patience. It'd be easier for me to just pop the face and hands back on a new nh36 and hope it's just as accurate as the old

Yeh thats right, its easy to just replace. This is more for someone who just wants to try n fix it. It looks harder than it is but then again ive opened atleast 50 or 60 movements by now so it becomes easy

I bought a Seestern some months ago, a Doxa homage, it came with wrong spring bars so the bracelet kept escaping and the watch would always almost fall. I got a spring bar from my Willard from Steeldive and made the replacement, got absolutely 0 help from Seestern, don't know if i can recommend the brand... But they sure do nice homages.

Ouch! I'm training myself to to ALWAYS set the time to 5-7am or 5-7pm (doesn't matter which) before using the rapid day/date change, no matter the movement, even quartz.

I'm still having problems getting my NH35 to keep it running In any functioning manner i can't seem to see any obvious problems it just doesn't seem to run any longer than a few seconds and is driving me literally mad any suggestions would be greatly appreciated I would like to avoid replacing the movement all together Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated before I send it down range for target practice Which is sounding quite appealing at this point Destroying a couple of my Paganis was definitely very satisfying ps I really missed your J4TM CONTENT Your channels are my favorites and continue to be the gold standard Thanks my friend 👍🤪

It could be a stem issue, as wierd as it sounds. I had one that did the same and replacing the stem worked

This is why I wish seiko did no date like merkur conqueror I've brocken 2 seiko dates forgeting the danger zone (it is in the manual never read it) , dont change between 10 and 2 ?

Depends on your local watch makers, slightly labour intensive, I would estimate £25-30 but a new movement is only £25 itself.

Due to over excitement i forgot not to change the time and date at 9pm of my Seestern 62mas, From the date Sept. 15 to Sept 17. I suddenly stopped when i realized i did something wrong. Does it mean my watch will have a problem very soon? Today i have corrected the date using the hour hand by turning it until the date canged to Sept 23 which is today

It was broken by misuse, guarantees dont cover misuse. Manual date change shouldn't be done when the day/date is going through transition

@@TheWatcherReviews yes - you're right - wrote to early my comment before the reason was clear why it was broken. Yes - the don't set time between 10to2 am rule should be shown respect. Hope many people take a look at the tube at and mess this dont do will cause if ignored.
