You should really consider moving that oil cooler higher. Having it sit even lower than your intercooler is just a recipe for a bad time.

It's mounted using the OEM mounts, it doesn't really have much play in moving it up. I've kind of looked at it, the Mishimoto cooler looks the same way in photos..but with the bumper on it shouldn't be so exposed. If it is, I'll have to assess that then haha!

My oil cooler is in the same position as his its in the stock location it will be fine.

How did you Jack the car up high enough to get it in the cribs? I just bought the 12 inch race ramp cribs and I can’t get the evo high enough to set the wheels on them.

Exciting stuff man! Congrats! I just went and looked at my hose clamp for the fuel tank and I have it on top side like yours so I'll be flipping that down and checking for leaks before the suspension goes up with it. Thanks for documenting the troubles and roadblocks you're running into! I'm taking notes for when I start assembling as well.

Nice man!! Glad the videos can maybe help just a little bit if for nothing more than visuals! I was worried about putting the tank in there and the clamp screw hitting the body of the car and so I flipped it like that but it turns out I think there’s plenty of space under there now. I thought I tightened it good enough at the time so i didn’t even check it but clearly not hahah

Hello.I have an stock Evo 9 2007 model 6 speed. and I want to change the antifreeze. Can you recommend the brand and color of the antifreeze? The color Mitsubishi uses here in Greece is blue oem

Yes, that is what I used, just oem coolant! I’m not sure of other brands

Why dont u undo clamp while you can and move it to the lower side so u can access it better and re tighten
@RyneDickens7 ай бұрын
I thought about that, but the way it’s situated in there and how the clamp works I’d never be able to get it relatched or around the hose again and if I just wanted to slide it around I’m not sure I could even get it to do that either with how tight it is in there
