I've watched your build series at least 4 times and am inspired to build one like yours. I look forward to every episode. You'll overcome. It's a beautiful boat.

Ah, the importance of limber holes & an actual bilge pump.. Stopping the leaks is obviously important, but every compartment should drain to the bottom/stern. Best of luck to you!

I’ll be adding small limber holes to the front hatch as well as the back. The problem came about because the livewell drain is inside the console, which ran through the rigging tube. Had I properly sealed that rigging tube in the back hatch this would’ve never happened because the back hatch would get water in it and I would notice. I really had no idea until the bottom had filled. Simple fix, just took some time to get dry. Now no water can get below the deck and will drain back to the bilge area

Lesson learned: Seal each compartment as best you can, then assume it will leak anyway. Drill limber holes at the low point in each compartment and install a bilge pump where it all collects.

Yes absolutely a learning for sure.

I would have drilled 3 holes in the transom to drain water then install 3 drain plugs.

Thought about that afterwards, but no water should’ve been below the deck once it was sealed properly
