Bro please say how much repair time you get on the repairs you do! Then put insurance in the description for more views. I’m an auto claims adjuster and when I was first starting out I learned a lot watching your videos. Thanks!

It’s decisions like what you did with adding another skim coat then chancing priming and blocking and there being an issue that’s something I’ve struggled with on and off for a little while now just need that mindset of just fix and finish

I wish i was that talented with bodyfiller. I just make a mess with it and spend many many many hours block sanding it

I would like to learn more about being a good panel beater. I would like to learn from you, the only problem is that I am here in the Philippines, I also have a child to support. so I want to be a panel beater so that I can also help my family, provide for the needs of my son and wife so that I can also give them a good future. if I'm lucky enough to work with you, that would be a big help. I hope you read this, I idolize you. I have been watching your videos for a long time and I am always impressed. thanks a lot

Can you tell us what grits you are going through. Thanks great video, you could make some good money here in Southern California.

36 grinder, clean metal with acetone & microfiber, 80 to clean any dark spots so your Bondo doesn’t slip and crack, 180 around brim of paint for primer blend, and 320 all around for primer cover

What brand of glue are you using? Thanks.

Is there a way to tell if you need a full replacement door or if you just need the door skin ?
@lewiskemp58933 жыл бұрын
Bent intrusion beam. I hate door skins. Open door and look at seam sealer. Dead giveaway

So it looks like you use da just to feather. Only sand mud with blocks. How do you know when to stop sanding?

Years of experience . You feel with your hands . If you have issues feeling you can use a glove or a towel as you move your hand across your body work . This trade is all about experience and picking up tips and tricks from people you work with

What keeps the paint repair from fading and chipping away a year or two down the road? I’ve seen so many repairs where that happens.
@ojscustoms92513 жыл бұрын
Cheap materials, poor prep...Pushing materials beyond their working limits...Lots of variables that account for a paint repair fail.
@lewiskemp58933 жыл бұрын
I like grinding to metal so bondo stick. Really clean surface before priming. Not just blowing dust off but spraying cleaner to wipe it

That could have been fixed with PDR and would have saved the original paint

Meh I've seen plenty of pdr jobs at our shop and let's just say it never comes perfect. But hey I do love when they push to paint, makes my job easier.
@dentmastersofnymichael33163 жыл бұрын
@@JRTX93 you need a better PDR man. I’ve been doing PDR for over 20 years and that is perfectly fixable
