On this episode I'm doing it all! Metal working the bedside, doing the body filler work, priming, prepping and painting. Don't miss this episode where I repair and paint the side of this Chevy Silverado!

You do great work. And your video edits are great too. Not too long and drawn out. Only suggest if you could mention how long some of these jobs take.

Man, you get panels straighter with metalwork than I can with filler. 😂

If you put a string of studs along a tough crease, you can put a clamp on the studs and pull. Less future corrosion than welding.

If every color sold needs a certain of same color fender or door skins in stock even if plastic, it would cut body shop down time & cost down to window replacement & dent pulling & replacement prts changes.

Another great vid! Do you think the spray on Transtart 1k primer changes the color tone of your base coat? I use 1k because its much faster but then i only do really low end stuff.

Anyone able to explain what the little pecks do with the body hammer?
@tripleeathletics3 жыл бұрын
The videos make them look much different, But when straightening panels sometimes it literally takes hardly NO pressure with a body hammer to go too far. Also sometimes we use the small pecks as stress relief. When there is a dent, just above your dented area the metal actually gets pushed out, so when pulling the dent, you have to work the high spots back into shape. Or without doing that, the area you are trying to pull out, will sometimes not want to stay completely out without doing that around the outer area. Hopefully that makes sense to you. 👍

If gauge of metal was 3times as thick it would make a world of diff & still can b easily recycled no waste.
