Nice work. Always amazes me how people can make a $5 tube of grease cost a couple grand by not using it.

You were in the Navy? I was as well.Eventual MM1 1981 to 1989. Good chance we pissed in some of the same oceans lol. Anti-seize: best thing since sliced bread.

Man what a job. Are those teflon pieces part of the bearing surface or just a carrier for the grease? Think you need to strap ol Oscar up and move him out of the way with the crane.........Happy Memorial day and thank you for your service.

You are very skilled with a hammer. I think it helps you have large thumbs. Speaking of thumbs. I have 1996 f250 2wd with 5.8l that needs a clutch. Can you recommend a brand from your experience? I was looking at rock auto and I do not wanna use "EeeNeee Meanie" to choose a clutch. Keep up the excellent videos Warren
@westerntruckandtractorrepa13535 жыл бұрын
Go with a Valeo clutch and you'll be fine.

i wouldnt be blaming the operator for that damage surely the nursery mechanic has to carry the can if he,s doing 250 hour oil and filter changes it should be part of the service routine to grease the entire tractor.

I never understood why they call that component a rock shaft? Does anyone know? Usually it's obvious why something has a name called such and such piece. But I've been around tractors a fare bit, but never understood why that was called a rock shaft.

it kind of blows my mind how many times you've dealt with this specific issue before i can understand zerks getting missed. but not greasing the rockshaft *ever*? it's a key component and you don't have to be an expert to know that... i grease mine and i don't even use it
