I admire the fact you are completely unintimidated by the size or complexity of any task you may face in your daily work. The sheer force of your positive attitude and work ethic is admirable and then to hear you give a "shout out" to someone you have encountered and are impressed by is a recommendation of the highest order backed by a solid source. As always, Warren, thanks for taking the time and effort to share your craft.

Great off you to give Alex a Shout Out,, After the look up he is based in Tamworth,, Country Music Capital, Country Music Awards Aust, Day In January goes for good week. Out that way and plenty of other places here in Australia its drought time just been no rain, We have many country towns running out of water... Farmers are struggling with the lack of water, As we know in a drought no crops, big reduction in cattle that means no cash flow.. Farmers doing it hard so its wonderful when someone can help them out on something that can be expensive...

I had one customer who was charged over $12k for a gearbox problem that turned out to be a $25 dollar switch I diagnosed over the phone...I cut myself short a lot but the feeling of helping people who are struggling is what I live for. I have a drought offer available, so if you or anybody you know could use some electronics help, see my website. bytefix . net

Credit where it is due young man you certainly put the hours in and bring knowledge with you! That crane on your service truck is a beast, I so wish I had one but here in the UK we don't have service trucks like you guys stateside. An awesome bit of kit and valuable tool to have. Stay safe and beware tiredness when working such long hours.

Maybe a helpful trick, maybe not. You may already know this. I have taken a variety of sizes of long bolts and cut the heads off of them. For example with the flywheel in this video or the transmission on the JD a few videos back. Take a couple of these bolts and partially screw them in and use them as guide/alignment pins. Thanks for all the great videos!

Goodyear Horizon hose. It's heavy as hell, but damn near bulletproof. My dad's old shop hose is still totally uncracked after 30 years, even though it's spent over a quarter of its life outside in the sun. Got all the usual shop chemicals on it, never really ever cleaned - only damage is some fading. Of course, 50 feet of 1/2", with 1/2" steel Tru-Flate on both ends, weighs about 50 pounds. And it is pretty stiff, like reinforced rubber hose usually is. Minimum coil is about 14". But it doesn't get *stiffer* even when it's just dug out of the snow. We use a 10 foot stinger of cheap 3/8" hose to get some flexability on the tool end.

1900 hours and she's toast!!!? That SUCKS!! But not unheard of.... $10k for the new engine is pretty good!!! Last one we had to replace was in the combine.. right at $20k with a factory reman by the time it was back in the field.. could have been less, but it was in the middle of harvest. Other recent one (10 years ago??) Was in a tractor, that one got an in frame... I think it was $12k when we got it back. Time is money, money is time.... Thanks for the video!!!

Tbh if you never serviced it an engine should last longer than 1900 hrs. I'd say the original engine was doomed from day one, either something was installed badly and was missed during quality control or there was a faulty part used which failed and led to complete engine failure.
