for me, just ended up being the switch - did NOT need to remove seat from car. I just opened up the plastic around the switch and it works fine. It was just the plastic not actuating the switch.

I wish it was just the switch. I replaced it and it still didn't work.

that corrosion did look pretty bad and the rust under the seat is never good, almost like someone spilled a lot of water back there and let it sit or rust came up from underneath... @@KGsGarage

I think its from the leaking convertible top.

@@KGsGarage I've noticed I need to replace the convertible top seal on the windshield, because of it being old and crushed it allows quite a bit of water to drip into the seat and down to the floor. Probably why yours is so rusted.

Did you ever figure out why one rail moves in the track and the other doesn’t? Do you know if a source to buy manual seat replacements?

No, i didn't figure it out.. something must be broken but I plan on replacing them with other seats in the future so i'm not worried about it. No I don't know a good source for manual seats.

Your luck is like mine, repairing a previous repair and/or finding something additional to deal with -like rust, broker motor gears, etc. I bought a switch from EBay $30, confirmed it works, but I still have to take the seat out in order to get the wire attachment unhooked and confirm no blockage in the rails. Not looking forward to it. Your video is very good btw.

@@KGsGarage what was it ? My seat only moves on one side. I'm hoping something is just stuck on the rail
