Fixing up the Written off Honda Grom

In this video, I prepare to get the auctioned Honda Grom ready for its MOT. I start off with changing the rear tyre as it has a puncture. Then I give the Grom a well deserved clean, before I find out that the clutch has been completely burnt out. So once again I remove the engine case and fit a brand new EBC upgraded clutch kit. Before putting all the fairings back on and dressing them up with a graphics kit which transforms the look of the bike.

Looks good, but as a lot has said, the tyre is on backwards, and an MOT failure if spotted, and personally, I would've put new chain and sprockets on it. 👍

Rotation of the tyre is wrong , asymmetrical tyre.

I have been watching this project from the start, i don't even have a bike licence but really enjoyed the whole process. I enjoy working on cars, although i may have to get my cbt and get a 125cc for summer 😁

Yeah you should deffo look into doing a cbt, you can get a feel for what biking is like before you get all the gear and a 125cc. I much prefer working on a bike now than cars.

yeah i have since removed a link, so the wheel isn't at full adjustment.

Had the Monkey 125 version, to be honest the build quality is rubbish. The chains and sprockets are made of chocolate and had to change them early on. Still like the Groms etc but that one looks like it’s had a very hard life.
