A really great series about Tiger! I think you make great videos, and this bike is one of my possible next bikes, so I find your videos very interesting.

Hi, i from Belarus, i have TRIUMPH TIGER 1050 2007 year!!! I bought in Switzerland, i am very happy!!!

Good choice. I have the exact same bike, same colour,same year and I love it. I would strongly advise you to change the front springs for stronger ones. Triumph installed way to light springs , even for light riders, they are not OK. The static sag ( without rider ) is already 60mm (of total 140mm). You can set preload and damping all day long, it just doesn't work. I installed hyperpro 9N/mm lineair frontsprings and it changed the bike into a well handling sportbike. I measured around 0.611kg/mm on the OEM springs....not good. Changing just springs is cheap ( If you manage to do it yourself) but makes a world of difference. Depending on your weight, the rear spring will be fine. If you way over 90kg (without gear) , another rearspring may be advisable. However, on the Tiger sport, the frontsprings are the real culprit of bad handling

yeah I see this question always popping up on forums about stiffening up the suspension, the best comment was someone said they felt sea sick. I'm keeping the bike stock for now until I get it back on the road, then will be doing upgrades. I know its a bit more work for me in the long run but would be good to do a comparison video on this issue with the suspension

Legend👍🏻, I suppose that makes sense as I believe the bike was owned by someone up or around Scotland way.

Mint video bro, subscribed! Once its complete, I dont suppose you could do a walk through the process of getting bike from copart, I'm tempted but it seems a lot of faff, any insight would be appreciated! Looking forward to the next one!

Top man, appreciate it. Yeah In the next part I’ll run through the process of buying through copart and cost as there’s quite a bit of taxes added.

Ive bought a few cat N bikes over the last few years, they can be great value. Unfortunately, a lot of people are very afraid of touching them when you go to sell them on.
@DGMotorcycles9 ай бұрын
yeah that's the biggest downside is trying to sell them on, very limited as lots of people want the clean title.

With all the fees and taxes plus delivery cost me £3647. I will do a full breakdown of cost once I have finished and got her back on the road. As I have a couple parts to buy still.
