initially i only used maschine to start tracks, been messing with clips lately but the way the ui is so clunky is annoying

Clips makes it a lot easier to add things like transitions ,mutes or even working with acapellas . I gotten use to Maschine Studio which helps my workflow as well.

Ideas view can’t be disabled. You can use song view to build clips. I don’t recommend only using clips workflow.
