I wonder if I could just have the powders mixed in a jar minus the liquids, not in cubes and just throw a portion into the loo to clean. It looks a bit fiddly to me. But great idea. I was wondering what to use instead of bleach. I'm trying to go all natural 😘

Dear Niamh, I thank you for this recipe. I stay in a place with very hard water. My toilet looked very dirty in spite of regular cleaning. I had to call professional people once in four months with very heavy chemicals so that I was usable. Your recipe cleaned up my toilet. Thank you very much! I have a query. There are hard water stain marks on the sides, along the water from the flush tank flowing path. is there any way I can get that also cleaned? If you have a solution. please do share. It will be a great help.
@FairylandCottage5 жыл бұрын
Delighted it worked Maria! It is tricky with hard water and it is constantly getting stains... hydrogen peroxide may work.. it is a natural substance that is non toxic and ok for environment...
@mariathomas58595 жыл бұрын

@FairylandCottage5 жыл бұрын
1234 Coffee you could try it out! You just don't want any ingredient that could go moldy...

Can I put lemon juice in instead? I can't put oils down the toilet it isn't good for the septic system.
@FairylandCottage5 жыл бұрын
Lauren Fry yeah try it just use one of two drops and then check. It might sizzle more because lemon juice is also an acid and I don't know if it will make the cubes mold.

Thank you so much for this video. ☺ I loved that you showed us how it fizzes up vut putting it in the glass jar. In other videos, they show the person dropping the tablet in the toilet but then we cant see it fizzing up. Can we use this recipe to make tablets to use in our kitchen sink? Would it be helpful to maintain the drain clean? Please let me know. Thank you

Chitra Uttamsingh yeah I saw the one that uses dish soap. Does it sizzle up with only 1/4 citric acid

@@FairylandCottage not much. I basically use 200 gms of baking soda and 40 gms of citric acid as that's one packet each from my store. The dish soap does help in cleaning a bit more though.
