Thanks so much for this video, FJ. My son has been growing his hair out for a few months, because he wants to get dreads. It is 4c and was looking really rough, but he stuck through it. It was also very dry and breaking, because I haven't been adamant about looking for specific products nor deeply moisturizing his hair. I googled 4c hair boys twist, and your video appeared. Next day, got the products. Next day, did the deed and he loves it!!! He is so pleased with himself and it gave us a 4-5 hour bonding period. That child is usually very tender by the head, but the products worked very well. Thank you, again!

My son loves when I do the comb twists on his hair. He swims everyday, so imagine his disappointment when I tell him I cannot do those everyday, whenever they dont look right. I was doing medium sized ones, they mess up too often, so I started doing them smaller, like what you've done and they last an extra week. I usually try to redo them every 10 days, but he kept these last ones up almost 3 weeks, even with the swimming. I'm so happy I don't have to redo them that often, he hates sitting under the dryer. But, he likes them crispy, so that they'll last longer😄

They still will come undone or flatten. If that doesn't do him in - he will scratch them out as In a day or two the product will dry out unless he cakes more in and he will have buildup . The moment he tries to wash his hair its over. Not trying to knock the loctician as her work is very impressive - especially working with such a short length of hair. However when people start coils like this at such a short length they will have to pay weekly or bi-weekly visits to a loctician for upkeep. He would've saved himself some money and both of them 3 hours if he had just purchased a loc sponge. It's also more self sufficient.

OMG! I can see myself with this right now. 🔥💧I’m probably gonna get some twistes in my head tomorrow or Sunday. 🤷🏽♂️Do you have to wash your hair? I’m just wondering.

How do you maintain them; Do you sleep with a durag or a bonnet? How do you redo them if they happen to unravel? Also how do you upkeep the ends?

5 HOURS?????!!!! Damn. You deserve ALL the accolades and good comments for that cause I was watching, and thought " ok - I can do that to my son's head" ... But after one hour? I'd be like "you saw me do it now here's the comb..I gotta go". LOL. I never knew it was really that simple. It looks really good though. I'd do it but bein' Black and having what my barber calls "white folks hair"? He said it wouldn't hold and would start to unravel and wouldn't have clean smooth twists.

no lie ,, i washed my hair and put the pantene gold products in there. sponged my hair with a brush and it turned out pretty similar to this. kinda did it by accident.

I just did my hair like this! I was looking for a video to see if anyone else does theirs twists like this. My hair is longer but it’s the same gist. I enjoyed the outcome. It took awhile but it was totally worth it for me. Nice Video.

Did you use these same products? If so, at what point did you add the lock and twist gel?
@emonnieessence55254 жыл бұрын
Aunya Williams hi, no I didn’t use the loc and twist gel. I used a cream, oil and leave in. I wasn’t going for long term locs, but more the look. I kept it in about a week and a half before I uncoiled the locs. And then went on to use it as a “loc” out hairstyle 😂 for lack of better word. I just separated the coils and got something close to what a twist out would look like and kept that for about a week more. The method is for locs but it really is a look capable of a couple more uses.

I just got one question.... how long is the duration of this twists in the hair and if you wash your hair is it gonna go back to normal hair?
@FjCuts7 жыл бұрын
+MR. Nobody you dont wash your hair when you have this in, wear a durag at night, add coconut oil before you sleep then add durag. Try not to touch it and you can keep it for a month! If you wash it, it will unlock
