I worked as a "business consultant" in UAE and Saudi Arabia. Any time that you're explaining any activity from your personal life (gaming, reading books, driving, hiking), they can show how it looks when you add 10$ mil to it. Spoke with some minister of health or whatever, told him that I like hiking and I've been no Norway last summer. He's like "i've been to Norway on a helicopter and drove around in my car that is flown around the world with me, and then when the weather got bad, I was taken to Switzerland for coco and chocolate and spent a night in the most expensive hotel ever". Yeah... I get it dude.

However, my english in high school was not that great but thanks to our leaders, I had the opportunity to learn English in a one-year english language program in Atlanta, Georgia. Of course, interacting with the native speakers helps you learn their language faster because you are immersed in the culture. Emirati women are the most beautiful women in the world. Thank god I am married to one already :) Nissan Patrol is owned by every house in Abu Dhabi but I am a big fan of Toyota Land Cruiser, I feel I own the street when I drive it. Way Cheaper than G-wagon but more powerful and reliable. Abu Dhabi is the best city to live and we have the best winter in the entire world. I advise people to visit it any time especially between November and March. Welcome anytime Andrew :)

I grew up in the UAE, and the reason I'm fluent in English is that we learn English since kindergarten, pretty much it is everyone's second language. It's weird there not to know english. I guess the generation now is even better than mine, they study Chinese and french and German. I'm big in languages, so i kindda feel a bit jealous, lol.
