To accommodate the engine the fuselage will require some major surgery along with the general repairs one would expect with a model which has had a hard life.

Well done. Love seeing this coming back to life. Thanks for the demo on the balsa stripper. I have the same one and have really struggled getting it to work well, especially on thicker sheets, but I think I know what I have been doing wrong. In need to start slow with shallow cuts making several passes. Thanks for the tips

I agree with your use of CA and epoxy glue. I only use white glue for glueing larger sheets together or leading edge sheeting when I need more time to join and clamp the parts together.

You can easily 3D print one yourself. I did and they are invaluable when building from plan.

Hi Mark nice to watch you repairing the body.I also have a Flair kit exctly the same except mine is a lot smaller kit.I find the Flair kits to be really nice kits to put together.from a Byker lad lol.😊

I’ve found that if I snap the pointy end of the blade off and moving it down, I get less deflection of the blade when cutting.
