I actually used to fish a lake all the time with big bass that would eat these dragonflies as they flew just over the surface. They only ate the blue ones, not the red. Tried everything including blue dragonfly flies but never got a bite. Guess I needed to invent a flying lure.

That dragonfly would do well at one certain time of year here in NC Flair. We have a couple days when the bass eat red ones that skim the water. I have seen them clear the water a good 2-3 feet going after them. Good video bud!

Love the top water frog videos! I'm striving to be better at that myself! Have u ever used a jitterbug across the top and what r ur thoughts on it? Would u give a small demo on it in a top water vid? And maybe u could do a vid like a call of duty game, where u and someone else start with the worst lure and when u catch a fish, u move on to the next lure that's a little better until u work to the best and the one who gets to the best and catches a fish wins.
