I've got to know how you painted that shield. The skulls look so clean!! Mine always come out chalky lookin and more like marshmallows XD

Good thing for you I happen to really like marshmallows 🤣 Did I show the shield painting in the video? 🤔 I find that a base of Zandri dust and then work my way up through bone colours. I’ll only use white for the smallest highlights. And if you aren’t already, I recommend using a wet palette and just make sure you are thinning your paints. Oh! And I struggle with GW whites/bones being chalky. So I switch to Vallejo for bones and whites.

FIRST. Always wanted to do that. It feels annoying, actually 😂 More blood angels? Here for it, chief! Grand stuff! I think the grimdark technique really makes them look unique. (Edit: the story was VERY cool!)
