Soy Milk! What!!! I am stunned here. I started searching for this immediately. Most websites are saying, not to worry. I love the taste of Soy Milk over others, which is why I use it for my daily morning coffee. Could you please do another video with possibly more research just for Soy Milk. I feel I am deep in the water now.

You will be fine drinking soy milk. The estrogen in soy is so low it’s not going to harm you. The only time you should eliminate food from your diet is if a doctor tells you.
@heyitslo4 жыл бұрын
While i don’t personally eat soy, it’s actually fine. The phytoestrogens in soy actually block up your estrogen receptors in a good way because they prevent animal hormones from getting in. Refined soy isn’t great, but look at some of the longest living civilizations like the Okinawans- soy every day 👍🏼

Please do a video on gums, emulsifiers, common fillers, suspect preservatives, etc. and their problematic effects and/or whether they are okay. In alphabetical order. Many people have sensitivity to Xanthan Gum. I found that I did by keeping a food journal. It really limits which brands of nut milk, gluten free bread and salad dressings I can eat! Canyon bakery uses Xanthan gum. Rudis does not (at least in their multigrain loaf)

Bobby, on the subject of cow vs goat dairy. I just spent the last 6 months on an anti-inflammatory diet which avoided all dairy, most grains, nightshades and sugars. This in an effort to solve reflux, hiatal hernia and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). I’ve gone from heartburn and acid reflux every meal to maybe once or twice a month. I’ve started bringing some grains, nightshades and dairy back into my diet. It seems cow dairy with processed wheat are huge triggers. I’ve since switched to goat cheese and have found zero issues. I also can’t believe what I’ve been missing out on with goat cheese. On a side note, my one year old son was having constant constipation and we figured it may be related to the whole milk we give him. We switched him to the A2 milk and within 3 days the stools were normal. We are now about 10 days in and everything seems to be better. I can’t help but wonder if this is all related to the A1casin protein. I look forward to a cow vs goat dairy episode.

@Forever_Laura5 жыл бұрын
The food industry does this on purpose!! They know most people have no understanding of grams and the equivalence to standard measuring sizes. They also fight tooth and nail to keep the gram measuring protocol - they have the best lobbyists. Just remember that there are 4 grams in a teaspoon and 12 grams in a tablespoon - it still doesn't sound like much until you go dump 4 teaspoons of sugar out in front of you. Sugar is poison people, and it should be a crime what the food industry is allowed to get away with.
@tracypatterson43205 жыл бұрын
Sunshine: when you shop, look at the labels and aim for items that are 4% or less in sugar per serving. I used to think the same thing as you then a nutritionist told me to keep it under 4 and I've lost 12 lbs just by doing that.

I guess because this video is two years old maybe? I give Ripple to my twins because I don't like dairy and when they were younger (still in diapers) they would break out in a rash. Ripple was the healthy alternative. It WAS Bobby approved but sadly now it's not? I'm so mad that I went by this video instead of scanning the back. I scanned the Ripple today (March 2022) after my husband got back from the store and the app said it was not approved, it had many horrendous ingredients in it. It sucks because we just wasted so much money when we could have spent the money on something better. Please do an updated milk video😊 Thank you so much for these videos, you have changed my life. soy milk having excessive estrogen, specifically to the point where it will negatively effect you is a total myth -- men are not going to get moobs from drinking soy milk. soy has phytoestrogens, a type of plant estrogen that has very low actual estrogen levels and isoflavones that can actually cause anti-estrogenic effects in some people. if someone doesn't like soy milk or just prefers something else, that's fine, but to perpetuate this myth in an educational video isn't a great look.

Hemp milk is very sugary but it’s good. I remember working at a cafe that only had hemp and soy milk. The hemp was so good and very milk like because of the extra ingredients in it. If you get a hot latte the texture comes out perfect but when you use unsweetened hemp the magic just doesn’t happen. That’s why you’ll never see an unsweetened non dairy milk at a cafe because the sugar helps it make good latte art.
