While at our local flea market recently I passed a vendor who had lots of hunting related items for sale,I asked if he had any "fishin stuff" to my surprise he said I know I have a Mitchell reel in here somewhere, 10 minutes later he pulls out of a box an early Mitchell 300 half-bail that worked, had minimal paint loss,and looked like the side plate screws never saw a screwdriver! $20 bucks later it's mine! By the way Dennis,those jig saw blades are for cutting the rubber worms out of the plastic after they've melted in!!! Keep those videos coming!!!

Dennis, do you sell any of your items? If so how can we arrange that? Also I talked to mystic parts and they DO sell a drag kit for a senator 2/0. I also bought an eccentric spring from them that they said would work for 95 cents. I was able to find a junk Long Beach 60 that was frozen, but had an amazing metal spook with no corrosion that fit my senator 2/0. Just for future reference when you rebuild your 2/0!!

Hey I have one box similar to yours...it came with my ocean city reel...so I believe it's kind of old vintage..

Ocean City Manufacturing company was sold to true Temper in the late 1950's, They continued to make the reels under the Ocean City name for a few years. Chances are that your reel is older than 1965. These were durable reels, so the box you have could contain items after the reels were discontinued in the late 1960's - Dennis
