Using photos taken in 1985 and 1986, this video documents the construction of the first Fleming motoryacht. The video closes with a shot of the same boat underway in Anacortes at a Fleming Owners Rendezvous in 2017.

30 yrs? Get back to me in 60yrs. I'm confident Fleming quality will go beyond this and more. Why? When you build with passion and integrity....you get a build that is unsurpassed in quality and value. Tony every video you make is just like your passion for boat building... beyond excellence.

My goodness; the conception and build of hull #1 must have been an experience of a lifetime. Nerve wrecking but eventually satisfying with a great sense of accomplishment. Fantastic video!

A lovely story told with no stress implied where there surely was. I spotted a new Flemming last weekend. It dominated the bay with its beauty and quality. Thanks for posting this important piece of maritime history.

There are many boat builders all over the world but, somehow, I keep coming back to Fleming because it is exactly what I had in mind IF I should be that lucky to afford the one thing I'd like to do: Travel the world and the seven seas in/on my own boat. I've watched almost each and every video that was posted by you or for you and it is exactly what I would do. So, two out of two isn't bad I'd say. Looking at the designs, I'd like to go with a Fleming 78 and travel all over North and South America, the Bermuda area, Jamaica then onto Asia. Eventually I'd go explore Europe. I may never be able to do all these things but, thanks to your video postings, I can dream about it so, in that aspect: "Thank you for living my dream" it's absolutely fantastic I think.

Well done Mr. Fleming ! 60,000 nautical miles of water has passed under Ventures keel. A true testament of craftsmanship in building this fine vessel.

I just stumbled upon the Fleming yachts and my are they stunning. I'm fairly young and haven't been involved in the maritime and boating community for too long but these yachts just seem to emanate quality. Would love to own one of these or even build my own M/Y someday seems like it would be a cool project.

this video is the reason my father told me before he passed away, that if I was to ever buy a yacht, this is the one..then handed me his yacht magazine, where the Fleming 78 is seen..I have since lost the magazine a couple of years ago and miss it terribly. Hopefully one day I will find the magazine it was in or maybe I might be blessed with buying a Fleming 78! Thanks for the show!

Great videos! Been into boating videos lately and these are enjoyable without without all the effects, filters, partying, and reminders to subscribe and donate. Nothing wrong with those, but these Fleming videos make me feel like I'm watching old school TV docs. Now I'm dreaming about Flemings in addition to Norhavns.

Sir, you are a brilliant yacht designer, a world-class mariner, a master video producer, and your script writing is full of whimsical nuance and scholarly insight. If ever I need major cardiac or neurosurgery, I respectfully request your services. May my supernatural GOD continue to bless you and yours, and all your future endeavors. Until the mid-90s a well-known global automobile manufacturer used to build his cars to a standard, not a price ... unfortunately that's no longer the case. It's good to see Fleming Yachts continue to build their yachts to a standard, for the buyer willing to pay a premium for quality.

Flybridge control to portside ??
@Filmgen17 жыл бұрын
The flybridge control is on the portside on all our boats but I'm not sure why this is a question?? There is no special reason for placing it there - it just worked out that way. It does make it easier to dock on the port side rather than starboard although portable control devices, such as Yacht Controller, make this somewhat moot.
