I think wallpapering the ceiling would make the room sooo dark, closed off and small feeling. I love the look of it now, still dark and cool looking but with the white ceiling it balances it out very nicely

Pro tip for hanging things like pictures, headboards etc: Take a piece of masking tape and tape from one hanging fixture over to the other, covering both. Make a pencil mark in the middle of each hole and then transfer the tape to the wall levelling the tape, then make your holes at each marking.

I'd say no to wallpapering the ceiling. I think it'll make the room darker and more closed in even though you've got a big window, especially if you're getting curtains too. The white ceiling shows off the lovely height of the room. Love the whole room though it looks amazing, you are so good at designing! Loving these vlogs!

Hi fleur the mirror above rivers bed is giving me anxiety, I had one exactly like that on my wall it was professionally fitted and the cable snapped and the wall plugs came out and it smashed to the floor, love your vlogs I have been following and watching from day 1 😀

I've never seen a wallpapered ceiling that looks good tbh I feel like it might look good to just you and just at first but would get so old so quick because it would be so dark and closed in. I honestly prefer no wallpaper lol but if you leave it I think the white ceiling brings the room together. PS: super enjoying the weekend vlogs!

I make falafel regularly and it only comes out the right texture if you use a food processor. Definitely one of my favorite quick and easy recipes! I wouldn’t wallpaper the ceiling because it’s so dark in that room already and I think the white ceiling balances it out. Especially once you paint the pipes copper I think a dark ceiling would make it feel like a dungeon. Loving these vlogs so much!

Definitely peonies! We used to have a peony bush in our old garden and my husband thought it was a stubborn weed so kept strimming it. Then one spring the strimmer broke and voila! Huge, beautiful peonies!

Just one word of advise from a family that's had a trampoline get launched into the air during a bad wind storm, buy sand bags and put them around the legs of the tramp. River seemed to love it! Such great exercise!

I absolutely love the wallpaper! I do agree with most of everyone on here, don't wallpaper the ceiling, it could make that room so dark and feel smaller. The "veggie" burger at the end looked yummy, I might have to try something like that. It is so neat to hear River speaking so clearly, I had no trouble understanding her at all (which is not a normal feat for me with children LOL), it feels like she was just born yesterday. Our half bath has matching wallpaper on the ceiling and it's much lighter than yours, still it makes the room seem smaller. It will also darken your room a lot.

Beautiful wallpaper in the downstairs loo and it would look dramatic on on the ceiling, you could also paint it the same colour as the background, like the pipes and it would show up the reflection from the light fitting. The large window will still let in plenty of light once the curtains are up and with the high ceiling, very grand. Love how the room looks and the mirror works but I would have turned it on end and hung it over the basin. I've papered a ceiling before... not easy but looks great. River's room is beautiful, picture hanging is perfect... gold star MDF!

I can't see clearly enough to be sure but I used to work in a florist and the peony type flowers could be David Austin Roses, a lot of brides have them as an alternative to peonies as they look so similar and tend to have a sweet smell, that could explain why they look more like a rose bud 😊 xxx

Hi Fleur, I make that recipe from BBC good food all the time! I've found it sticks together better if you don't blitz the mixture too much and leave it chunky. It also works really well with black eyed beans if you have those and it you roll the patties in flour before frying they go super crispy. Naughty, but delicious!

We got my sons trampoline 2 years ago and he has used it EVERY DAY. Every single day. Rain or shine. We lived in Southern California so the weather permits it but it’s the best purchase we’ve made for him 😂
