I don't know where you live but in some countries like mine (Brazil) there are no incentives for people to buy new things, interest rates and low taxes that only make people who have capital have things, so where this opportunity exists it's easy to abandon and take it another (it doesn't have to be 0 km) the newer used ones are very accessible. I agree with you and I'm sad because we like cars and seeing them abandoned is bad.

Judging by all the factors this was abandoned by teens or some really weird people. Locking you keys in the car, untightened injector, red angel eyes all the clues are there that this car was in possession of some incompetent people, probably changed the gasket themselves.

That looks in very good condition, I like the interior. It looks ready for use now. I have the same engine in my Rover 75. Very tough and long lived engine as you know with not many major weaknesses.

@@williammcphee7439 u might want to take the valve cover out and reseat the seals... if its smokey ... usually means extra air/ fuel mixture. but most of times is extra air.

E30 and E60/61 are better imo, the E46 looks like an average 1998-2007 European car to an extent. I own one myself, not a terrible car despite looking the blandest of all BMWs

oh! I have bmw e46 too, but Compact version from 2004 petrol. I also like the version in the video. Very nice cars if you take care of them. I'm glad you saved them. Will you continue to repair and sell? If you want to drift, turn off DPS and traction control, but don't do it because it's dangerous. I learned to control myself over the first few seasons. All the best to our mechanics from Estonia!

after replacing diesel injectors you also need to code the S/N printed on the new ones in the DDE, otherwise the car will smoke a lot and run rough.

I had the 6 cylinder 330d version of this car last year. Amazing performance, but the automatic transmission could not handle the power and died just under 230k km. I'll get a manual next time...I miss that car

Их нерентабельно ремонтировать в сервисе. Поэтому и стоят. Без заключения авторизованного сервиса,не можешь пройти так называемое ТО. То есть не можешь сам ремонтировать авто,если это относится к безопасности движения.
