@@Elrafau Sdi's were mostly installed in light cars and are peppy enough for what they are. I clocked consistent 17s 0-100 in my MK3 Golf SDI. I've driven much slower cars with no issue.

​@@jakub_551 Yeah, I have a 1.9 SDI Golf 3 myself and my parents too, both have done 300000 and 600000km with ease and still run like factory on the same engine. The 1.9 SDI is literally unkillable no matter what you do to it but slow as hell.

that car was revolutionary when it came out in 1991. it had great visibility, 5 headrests and in 1992 it was the first small family car in europe to have a driver airbag(in 1993 it started to get a passenger airbag too). though in terms of crash test rating it got marginal in iihs(equivalent to 2 maybe 3 stars in 1997 euroncap standards)

I hope you bring that Xsara back to life soon, if it's a RHY, that engine is indestructible. I consider the old PSA diesels to be the best ever made. I like the RHY more than the rotary pump TDi's. They sound better, are very smooth and pleasant to drive.

The Xsara is a very underrated car... I think it's one of Citroën's best. I have one from 2002, and it never dies, it runs like the first day, it has 260,000km.

@@SrWolf90 Where do you drive that Citroen? I had a Citroen AX. The petrol engine was indestructible, the gearbox was problem-free. The bodywork didn't rust at all in 25 years. The rest, all the engine equipment, brakes, suspension, electrical system were terrible crap. The alternator was excellent, probably from Melco-Mitsubishi. The workmanship of the car was terrifyingly cheap.

@@michals547 I drive it everywhere, I recently did 1400km on it, no problems. It doesn't have rust or anything strange. One of the best cars I've ever owned, I've seen premium brand cars with rust from the same era as the Xsara, and I've even seen the chassis crack (BMW E42). The PSA group made chassis that were on par with other manufacturers, very safe, very high quality metals. The AX was a car of the essence of the 2CV, it didn't go very far, but the TU/TUD engine was indestructible.
