I'm glad they talk about this as a run it disc. I always see new players thinking out loud about how they think a slow glidey disc like a Glitch or similar is the perfect run it disc. But it seems like all those dudes are 840 rated. All the 940 rated guys use Bergs and Pigs and Rhynos and similar to run the basket because they don't glide away. The only guy I know who bags a Birdie has a 4 digit pdga number and he is surgical with it.

Glitch is too light to be trusted on a lot of days. Otherwise, it's pretty slick. Birdie's probably more reliable though, even if it doesn't have an insane glide number.

Get a Watt as it’s a max weight Glitch. Things is 💰& dead straight along w the Berg. Berg is great to forehand as well.

Way too glidey and not at all the type of disc I'm recommending to newer players. Watt has a beautiful flight but I don't have a good use case for it to make my bag for a rated round.

@@seymourglass26birdie is more of a 1/4/0/1 disc for me...nowhere near a 2 glide thats for sure.

Love the birdie. I keep one around for the younger kids when we have family mob rounds. I might throw it in the bag and give it a real shot!

Wish there were more in premium plastics tho

This is the unfortunate story of a lot of great Innova approach discs. We don't need the crazy options of Discraft, but give me at least Star Plastic.

The Glyph is the same mold as the Birdie and you can get them in C-Blend (Champion) and R-Blend (R-Pro) plastics. 🙂

The Birdie is actually functional, learn to use it and you'd be surprised how well to play it comes in handy. I use mine on pins played out on a steep hills

I love the Birdie. The only downside is that when I was bagging it, I could only find it in DX plastic. Would gladly go back if it was more durable.

A talented player can use many tools, the birdie is surgical in the hands of a good player. A fav of mine on select holes. I’m a musician by trade and guaranteed a good player can make any instrument sound good. Ask Jack White. Birdie is a keeper if you can play.
