@@digitalbiosDriven by algorithms. These trailers aren’t really a creative proceess anymore, it’s almost a math problem to figure out which footage in which order will attract the most ticket buyers. All computer driven. The movie suffers for it, but at the end of the day, the people making it just need their bottom line Edit: I can’t imagine how much more entertaining this would be if you go into the movie not knowing the twist, as another commenter pointed out.

The woman survives because Hollywood won't kill a woman. Topher survives because he is the good guy. Marky Mark dies in a ridiculous way because this is Hollywood. And the fact that the woman overpowers Marky Mark takes you out of this movie before it even begins because in real life Marky mark shoots her in the head and then kills Topher a d lands the plan unscathed because that is real life. This movie looks so totally outside of Mel Gibson's wheel-house; his films are usually so spacious and epic, not claustrophobic and contained like this. I just hope these limitations have excited his creativity instead of stifling it. These one-location movies can either be really good (127 Hours) or really boring. My fingers are crossed.
