yeah it's ok but still too many stutters compares to my butter smooth G2. I guess I'll wait for Varjo to implement MR before buying the Aero

If that's what you're looking for, yes wait and see what Varjo come up with first. It is subjective as to whether it's currently tolerable.

@@djtaylorutube How is it when banking an aircraft in the aero ? With my G2 disconnecting MR, that is what annoys the most as the stutters are really noticeable

@@fredericfamso9572 Hopefully you can see that looking forward in the video? Some prefer MR on, others prefer it off. Sometimes it works for me in the G2 other times I hate it.

@@fredericfamso9572 Yes I agree Frederic, also panning your head side to side induces a lot of stutter and looking down at the ground is choppy. MR in the G2 is heaven though, with very little artifacting and it's oh so smooth. For me the Aero need this and not only this but a great implementation of it as well.

It's really not but I accept that it's subjective and if anything I think it looks better in the headset. Ultimately, you need to try it or wait for Varjo to implement it. Glad you found it helpful anyway :)

@@djtaylorutube I'm on the fence myself. I can deal with pretty much all other complaints, but stuttering tends to give me headaches. I'm probably one of few who forces motion smoothing full time.

@@roadczar Yep I understand. I've sometimes found MR introduces movement surges and the wobbly prop or other artefacts get on my nerves. The prop can be fixed with the mods but I found myself happier with MR off with my G2, so it's a toss of a coin as to which we choose :)

@@roadczar I'm with you, can't currently tolerate MSFS in the aero, to get it smooth(ish) I have to lose so much detail. In IL2 however, it's a different story... perfection!

I used to play dcs and mfs with motion smoothing always on and found it good, one just for the heck of it i disabled it never turned it back on. It much better with motion smoothing turned of.

This is pathetic, it's the same as the desktop using MSFS VR settings. Why didn't you do it through the lens so we could actually see what the Varjo produces?

Hi David, thanks for your constructive evaluation! Plenty of other people have done TTL videos and the *only* purpose of this was to show the output of the Varjo software, which presently does not have MR. Whether it's the same as MSFS monitor wasn't the point. However, since I was already doing this for a different reason earlier, here's a TTL kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmHLXmpqq9Sgg8k If anything it's so much clearer viewed in the headset, these videos just don't really show it off at all since it's so difficult to get a decent focus doing TTL and maintain that registration while moving.

It's not killing me without though. :)
