I built my flight sim cockpit around a Playseat Challenger, an Xbox series S with a TM Hotas X /w rudder pedals. My monitor is a Spectre C40 40” curved screen and is quite heavy so I didn’t want to fool around with a flimsy monitor stand. This is where I got Next Level Racing’s monitor stand, I can personally vouch for the excellent design and build quality from NLR. In the future I will seriously consider the NLR’s flight cockpit when I upgrade to a PC and have a permanent man cave.

Hello. Love your videos. I have this Boeing cockpit to. Love it but how do you mount the bravo throttle. I find using the clamps. It sits too far back. When I’m flying I feel like I have to reach far back. I even put the cockpit mount two holes forward. Any suggestions. Thanks

I have never really considered a setup like this but I am now. I'll have to see how all of my hardware would work with it (additional panels perhaps). Doesn't seem too outrageous on the price (not cheap but nothing in the flight sim world really is).

"Wasn't a problem at all". Means the centre yoke console does wobble, it's not really noticeable when flying.

If you set it up correctly, it doesn't wobble much at all. Its pretty sturdy.

Mine required modification to fit my stick. I have a virpilmongoost base with the 200mm extention. I had to cut the steel tube and weld 16 gauge sheet metal plate to sit the base on.

It's one of the more tempting cockpits out there for sure but a shame this video was more of a sponsored ad than an in-depth review. If you make other videos with proper reviews and a lot less stock promotional footage in the future I'd jump in for a proper watch to really get an idea of what this cockpit is all about outside of the sanitised company approved lines.

It will work as a race sim as well. Only with desk clamp wheels.

I have an fgt as my simrig, it's not great but you can buy the accessories to convert to flying although you will need to drill holes as the recommended ones are to big for me as a 6foot 2 male. There's also a company that makes quick releases, so you can quickly swap pedals bases and sticks n stuff.

Been really tempted with this, however I watched a vid the other day too that mentioned a few issues on mounting the honeycomb throttle well. Also on your video, it does look like it flexes quite a bit when you were using the HC yoke too, tho maybe looks worse than it feels in use

I’m getting a flight simulator cockpit for Christmas

One thing that almost no review talks about: When you mount a Honeycomb Bravo Throttle on this seat (source: I have one myself, the Boeing version), the throttle is way too far in the back, and you have to have your arm in a very uncomfortable position. Strangely, Next level Racing had images with the Honeycomb hardware on their website I think, but the images have vanished since. Don't get me wrong. The seat is awesome, but for the Honeycomb throttle, you might want to mount it with some custom built mounting plate or small table. This is information I wish I had before blowing out 1k bucks. Not that I wouldn't have bought it, but still ...

You are absolutely right. It obviously looks too far aft for comfort. Was thinking of getting one but the throttle plate position doesn't look comfortable to me, too far rearward. Were you able to find any solution to that?

Warning: reviewer fails to mention that this cockpit does not work for honeycomb throttle. It sits in a horrible position regardless of what mounting plate you select. Clearly, he has no interest in doing an in depth and honest review as he received the product for free.

I actually use mine with the honeycomb throttles. The cockpit, comes with a straight bracket that is suited to use with the throttles. Please don't assume what my interest are, as you are being misleading. Thank you.
