Shohei is not only breaking records, he is shattering them at a record pace. Judge is not single handedly carrying Yankees to the playoffs. Juan Soto is having a really great year and bats in front of Judge, so this gives Judge a lot of opportunities for RBIs.

@@sigerlion8608 Yep. And at one point, at least the first half of the season, the Dodgers 7-9 had the lowest batting average in baseball, which is why Ohtani's RBIs are much lower.

Old men are stuck in a one dimension world of Dingers, year in and year out. Same thing just one single ball or two over the fence extra. While the new generation sports fans wants to see more different dimension of the baseball. Something, out of the ordinary. Like instead of sitting in IL, learn to get better in something you didn’t do before and break a record creating an a usual combination. While playing with only one 100% arm! As for little Verlander, can’t stand his ground, so go with the flow to avoid being bullied. Such a wuss. Doesn’t care about anybody. Pretended to root for Ohtani because he thought he would be popular and say the “right” thing. But when he got bullied, nowadays, he just work hard on being on the “right” side to stay popular. There are others much more honest and consistent than this guy.

Dude John Smoltz is smoking cracks. Last two year he said Judge deserved the MVPs because Judge carried the Yankees to the playoffs and Ohtani couldn't. This year Ohtani carried the Dodgers to the playoffs and crackhead Smoltz said Judge deserved the MVP because Judge carried the Y to the playoffs. Yea like Ohtani don't carry the Dodgers. What about Juan Soto with 37 homeruns. Did Judge carry Juan Soto too.

Shohei is not an MVP with the Dodgers. Dodgers are exactly where they were before he came to LA. He's just riding on the Dodgers bandwagon. But the Dodgers' woeful pitching, which he and his Japanese mate, Yamamoto, were supposed to sure up, remains woeful and will probably be the team's downfall in the playoffs. Judge on the other hand has a much less potent lineup with the Yankees. They would not be on top without him. He and Stanton are California boys that I wish were on the Dodgers.
