Imagine Yankees vs. Dodgers in this year's World Series. Aaron Judge vs Shohei Ohtani. Down to game 7, Dodgers lead by 1 and with a man on 3rd base, 2 outs and Judge at the plate and Shohei comes in to close the game with a strkeout to win the World Series.

The obvious reason Shogun Goatani can do both pitch and hit, he pitches right handed and bats left handed. He grew up using his whole body, both limbs and legs. Precise, power, and speed. He’s bespoke, period

that's one of many reasons.

@@dunnbrandon I’ve never ever thought of an Athlete being Bespoke much like a motor from a posh auto manufacturer. You’re absolutely correct I cannot think of another athlete world wide who has the customization of mastering betting and pitching. That and he does his homework. I wonder how much video of opposing pitchers him and the Dodgers evaluate? Further, him being a great pitcher give him a deeper, more intuitive function which helps him offensively.

Shannon Sharpe mentioned $700M was cheap. He’s worth a good 1BN because now his $700m contract was too little. Ohtani wants to win more than anything.
@FAFORednickincell3 ай бұрын
It was cheap when they estimated Dodgers would bring in atleast 50 million a year directly to the Dodgers So they really are only paying him 200 million over 20 years
@LL-tc1re3 ай бұрын
That's why it's hard for normal people to understand how it's possible he didn't know about the missing millions that were stolen. He literally spends all his free time studying on how to be a better baseball player- this year more on stealing bases as not as much time is spent on pitching prep. The Arizona mgr said the same thing in terms of his prep time.
