I have to say, I was a little worried you might paint it, or change the legs/hardware, because even though there is painted furniture I do really like, there are certain pieces I cringe at seeing them painted, or changed a great deal in order to update. You literally gave new life to a piece that otherwise would probably end-up as firewood. That style buffet would make an outstanding bathroom vanity. Add vessel sinks/faucets and it's perfect. Or it could be a beautiful addition to any formal dining room or Great Room. Your repairs were 'spot-on'. As a result your buffet probably has another 50+ years of functionality. (I noticed your attention to insuring the buffet was thoroughly cleaned and prepped. Truly proud workmanship every time!)

👋 I hope you've been well. I really like the places you added the black, but it's not a solid back, so it sure does retain some of the vintage. The different stain on the doors, inside the lifted area is a very pretty touch. And don't know how you made the missing pull on that door, but from here, it looks perfect. It looks like you finished dressing her and then added the "dangly" earrings. 🤩 She looks satisfied and ready to stay a few years. 💖 Thank you for letting us see this vision in the making and thank you for saving another piece of history. Take care. 💞
