I love this. Labs love to fly. Planes take them to fun places. This video shows how aware the dog is. nice video. Nice glass water landing.

She was a bit apprehensive a couple of times (when she licked her chops) but otherwise she did great, including doing the "labrador lean"! I always had chocolate labs (for 30+ years now) and they are the best, love them! I would however recommend using a harness on her, at least during take-off and landing, as floatplane ops are inherently dangerous, and you don't want her getting injured or worse in case something does happen.

Nice clip & abs gorgeous dog! She seems unperturbed by the noise, I think doggies more sensitive to high pitched sounds. But what about a floaty & restraint for her, if it's good enough for daddy. Many years ago I had our lab in the front seat when driving along the bay foreshore and into the tunnel which incidentally runs under the main runways for YSSY, someting about the strobing effect of the tunnel lights freaked her out & she dived onto the floor around my feet, could've caused an accident!

The dog is 3 years old and that was her first flight. But she has always been used to go with me on boat, snowmobile or atv. She loves engines!
