Thanks for the comparison Tony! I have been riding a Pint X for about 4 months now and I LOVE that board. I am looking to get a 2nd board, specifically a bigger model, but I feel like both the GT and GT-S are overpriced (and they raised the GT price for some reason). I have been eyeing the ADV Pro as my next purchase. For reference I wear size 12 shoes and I am about 200 lbs. Low-speed torque is what I am looking for.

Friends don’t let friends buy boards from people who blatantly rip off the intellectual property of multiple US producers. Patents NEED to matter. If people like floatwheel can just ignore patents, then there is NO way that an innovator can justify the time and expense to develop something new. Future Motion is a shit company that hates their customers and hates competition even more. They DID NOT even invent the electric balancing skateboard. Their patent simply went through first. The ripoff happening here is part of a trend where american companies take risks bringing ithings to market ( the patent is maybe 1% of this) and do the work to popularize and refine the concept and then once there is a proven market,.... YOINK.. chinese manufacturers step in with a cheap copy.. doing none of that hard work, taking little personal risk, just ripping people off. Look at what happened to "hoverboards" BTW. I already new that GT S will be inferior to ADV PRO but I think here Tony you put to much amusement towards GT S. I think being more objective/professional in the comparison like in the previous videos would help Floatwheel and gain more believers/followers and diminish discrepancy between the brands. I'm definitely sold on ADV (despite currently having a pint from 2020). Tony's personality and engineering mindset also inspires more confidence than FM's predatory practices. And after recent vids, publicly addressing older issues with ADVs plastics and resolving them at no expense to existing customers I know who I'd want (and trust) on my team. On a side note this feels very very akin to an apple vs android scenario, where by now, everyone knows android to be customizable, open and performant vs the less performant, limited (albeit pleasant/consistent) apple ecosystem.

About the GTS series is that from a slow speed it’s not that much different than a GT. It’s at the highest speeds that the voltage you can really feel it and you even hear it from Kyle

Make no sense, electric cars don't work like that, they have torque and power at low speeds too. Low speeds are just harder because you don't have momentum, so it's a really good test to see the power of an electric vehicule.

I never said electric cars don't have torque at low speeds. I said, like a Tesla, the GTS has only high-end torque. For your information, 'high-end torque' is the torque off the line when you start from zero and you hit the accelerator. But if you press the accelerator further on a Tesla the low end torque is very minimal like a Onewheel, it has little no low-end torque; just like a one-wheel - if you try to press further, the board will cut out on you because it has no more torque to offer, and it has literally no low-end torque. the Float Wheel has lots low-end torque and horsepower to get you up those steep hills, unlike the boring one-wheel.

If true... this needs to be pinned. I too sense some "insider trading" shenanigans between TFL and FM over the XR haptic feedback acceptance. I have 4 XRs, one that won't turn on unless plugged in briefly first, so instead of getting a GT-S, I will be VESCing it instead. I was about to pull the tax free lever on a GT-S while visiting family in Oregon over the holidays but I can't justify it knowing the freedom that VESC offers. "Want to do 30mph briefly? No problem!" I have too many spare parts and boards to justify the ADVpro but if Tony wants to sell 83Volt guts, I am all about that life. I have a lil focer and a 3D printed controller box ready to go.

I think the lower pressure on the adv helped with the first step. But it's also a larger tire with more sidewalk which would have helped even at the same psi. FMs tire configuration is simply worse. But once on the solid ramp, the higher tire pressure would actually help by increasing clearance. But not as much as the advs bigger tire and shorter nose.

I think the issue is that the GTS has the power but FM software doesn't rase the nose when there is more curent being drawn for hill climbing. So the nose just hits the ground. Also in the peremier of the GTS FM showed a graph of the tourqe of the GTS and the graph shows almost no touqe when going under 5 mph and tony is going under 5mph in this hill climb so I guess this is to be expectied.

It's cool to see ATR doing it's thing. I knew how it worked, and I have felt it working on my GTV, but to actually see it working going up and down the ramp was good to see. That poor GT-S though! only out of the box 5 mins and took a beating. I'd be interested to know if you found out what was burning.

turns out, not the case, we made a dyno test and the GTS is 3800w and GT at 2500w, Adv at 6800w, onewheels are weak.

Be interesting to see 113 V on a 8 hp motor but they didn’t update the horsepower so it doesn’t feel any different if I’m wrong please let me know because according to what I’ve seen all I did is up the voltage to 113 V and not up the horsepower necessarily and more horsepower on an electric vehicle gives you more low end torque. That’s how the float wheel gets up those steep pills because of that 6 hp compared to 3 hp if you know what I’m talking about.

You need to look up horsepower, watts, Ohms and Amps, and they're relationship to each other 😂 Horsepower is literally an other word for watts (1hp = 735watts)

When a motor has more horsepower, it has more power output and can operate more quickly and efficiently. This also means that more horsepower you have the more power you can put in. A 6hp motor can handle more power than a 3 hp motor resulting in more torque.
